We just don’t have the talent to try and hang around and won in the fourth quarter, need to be lucky

Guess Kirk has a book of opposites for analytics?

I think he's the only coach in the country that kicks that

There’s not a coach at any level of football that elect to kick a 51 yard field goal down five with 2 1/2 minutes left on 4th and 6. Not a single ******* one.

That is insane. How the hell does he think two FGs is more likely than 4th and 6. I'd rather throw hail Mary than kick

Even without a playoff appearance possibly on the horizon, or other big goals in mind, you can't go full puzzy and settle for 3 there.

You just can not. Can. Not.

Iowa still struggling to beat anyone with a pulse. Can't win on the road. Can't win the big games at home. Year after year after year, so on and so forth.......

That was a not a wise call. A young kicker in this situation when you were going to go for it originally. The penalty hurt but it just made it a longer fg.

You can't make that call unless you have the most explosive offense in the history of football

I take it back. He should have gone for it. I don’t trust our kickers over 50 at this point. Under 40 it was the right call. The kicker let Kirk down.
