They caught the team napping. And Stein is still pissed. Like that. But don’t let it be lip service.
Coach Stein realizes that we have to play better. Gonna be a tough week for the defense.
Yup. And should be. Hell he’s not happy with anybody. That should’ve been a 45-7 game by halftime. Did our backups get any minutes?
We came out flat as often happens after winning a huge game and then playing a tomato can. We did okay. Stein obviously peeled some paint at half time and we responded
Hopefully this game lights a fire under these guys and we come out burning hot against South Carolina.
South Alabama came to show what they could do. Respect. Gotta have a great week of practice and get the defense to dial it in again. Can’t let Carolina pass like that.
Looked a lot better in second half. Passing game unremarkable but our O line looks pretty good. Passing defense was lackluster. Conference is obviously stacked and will be a tough row to hoe. All in all I’m much more interested than last year
Stein showed his immaturity/lack of seriousness when he called for a long, low probability pass on 4th & 4 from just inside SA territory. The team followed his lead. He'll get better.
