Cowbell question…

Since MSU is going for a cowbell record tomorrow I was wondering how many of you guys regularly carry a cowbell to games?

I did as a student, but got tired of keeping up with one during games and quit after I graduated. Mostly used to decorate my office now.

Thoughts on a Friday night.

We bring one as a family and just let my daughter ring it right now. She loves it.

I’m too locked in during a game. Found myself bringing it and leaving at my feet forgetting to ring it because I’m either yelling or biting my fingernails during all the big moments.

I bring mine and one for both of my kids. Taught them how we used to tape the clapper and smuggle them in via our belt loop or back pocket, back in the banned days.

I have 4 but only 2 that I ring now, 1 for baseball the other for football. The other 2 are my original one from Fall of '80 and my dad's that I inherited, both that I display at my office.

We don't go to games any longer, but when we did I did not but my wife did carry one, and used it.

I recall that moment when my chillren were old enough to carry one, their size. Pregame, dunno where, does not matter, might have been one of the gator bowls. I say "ring it". We are in a crowd, maybe parking, whatever. I get the "what....ring here, but we shouldnt be loud like there here"....they ring it, and are so excited to hear the response. They still kept chill after that, not like the vandy whistler.
