And Robert Hanssen, the FBI agent who sold secrets to Russia for years, also died in prison a few days back.

It feels like these things happen in threes. I’m trying to think of another high-profile federal inmate who might be the next to go.

That’s a fact, but it’s not really a “but” like it’s a redeeming quality or anything. He used his brilliance to kill people and avoid justice for a long time. Sick a$$hole.

Imagine being the University responsible for creating the Unabomber. The whole damn campus knew, but they turned a blind eye to protect the brand. Burn it down. Burn it all down.

Netflix is releasing new movie about Michigan's most infamous graduate -- Ted Kaczynski, aka The Unabomber, who will be portrayed by Russell Crowe.

But unfortunately Netflix decided to replace the FBI agent and Penn State graduate who nailed him, James Fitzgerald, with a fictitious character named Joanne Miller.

Love the Netflix poster, they even skipped standard, "based on true events". Which means we changed a lot of stuff to make it more interesting. This one says, "inspired by true events", which likely means we wrote story about a domestic terrorist and decided to name him the unabomber so more people will watch.

I still think Art Howe should have to right to sue someone over how he was portrayed in Moneyball. He wouldn't because hes too nice of a guy based on everything I've ever read or seen of people that knows the guy. Based on Moneyball youd think he is a complete ahole.

I’ll skip the Netflix movie. What would we learn that we already don’t know about this incredibly narcissistic psychopath and his selfless hero brother? Enjoy it if you’re planning on watching it, ymmv. Yes, TK was all that at Michigan and Berkeley in mathematics, this is just me setting the frame for you, don’t know how Netflix will approach that.

But I would watch the movie about the course you take at the Univesity of Michigan that makes a person to be an incredibly narsiccistic psychopath. Reading this thread, they must just churn them out at Ann Arbor

Robert Hanssen died a few years back in 2023.

Not to be confused with Robert Hansen, a.k.a. The Butcher Baker Alaskan serial killer who died in 2014.
