Can somebody explain to me the difference between these club sports and scholarship sports. For instance how the NCAA is involved or the experience for the student athlete.

The NCAA is not involved in club sports in any capacity. Club sports are usually run by the students. Schools do sponsor some club sports providing uniforms and playing surfaces/fields but that's the extent of their involvement. While other sports/schools, members pay a fee, it varies from school to school from sport to sport.

HUH? It already is a scholarship sport and run by the NCAA. Did I fall into some type of joke here that I'm simply not getting? Because there are schools that do not have Scholarship Lacrosse but do have Club Lacrosse teams in P4 conferences.
I thought Lacrosse was a coed club sport. Sorry, I’m getting all confused. I only follow football and basketball.

The fiscal 2027 Ritgers budget has $82.6 million for athletics department employee comp (Keli’s department) and $0.7 million for student and recreation center employee comp which includes club sports.
Based on my experience playing club rugby in late 1990s, the program was run by student volunteers and volunteer coaches. Fee was $50 or $100 per season and I don’t know where that money went but probably Thursday beer bashes at a house some guys shared. Players chipped in gas money to travel to away games.
Big time college sports increasingly prioritizes paying coaches and administrators whereas club sports still prioritizes student participation.
We had around 40 players. So we fielded two teams so everybody got a lot of playing time.

Isn’t basket also club? No contact sport that’s play at the gym. Remember playing in a few leagues at RU at the college ave gym.
What is happening is unOriginalKnight is trying to be provocative. My political takes have really gotten under his skin over the years. Combine that with an utterly unhealthy infatuation with DeadbeatAl whom he feels compelled to protect, and he likes to take shots at lacrosse. He seems to think that personally bothers me. It's a desperate attempt by someone who has is filled with hate. I will say he is right about one thing. He has no understanding of anything athletic. He's a short little (claimed to be Jewish) guy who was never an athlete at any level. This is as close as he will get.
I played a club sport at RU and we practiced a lot but had no money for uniforms, equipment, nothing! All self funded of course!
But was fun and I had a 3-2 match record for RU in my one year so happy about that including a win over Princeton!

RU should throw the Lacrosse team a bone and at least pay for their sticks. Also, can’t they use the wrestling mat for games? Other wise they will have to find a local Junior High and reserve some space.
Princeton, Cornell, Columbia, Yale and I think Lehigh. What was interesting is it was combined grad and undergrad teams. I was undergrad.
He’s always been infatuated with me. I’m used to it. Most of my life it’s just women but every now and then a dude pops up unfortunately.
I would have to imagine lacrosse and pickelball play the same sort of schedule. They probably coordinate games at the same time so they can split the cost of a school bus for road games.
