So after which game is Beamer fired? Name prediction here

Bama is gonna beat us by 40. Kentucky probably beats us by 10-12. Then at Florida? Loss. Tennessee at home? Loss. Thats 2-5. Then Oklahoma then A&M. 2-7. Then at Arkansas, Georgia and Clemson. If they let him go past Oklahoma then its not gonna be until after the season ends. Id prefer after Kentucky, start the search immediately.

My prediction?? Not until after Clemson. If then at all. We finish 3-9.

Kentucky is still a possibility, Arkansas sucks. We are an OU collapse away from playing a crap Clemaon team for bowl eligibility.

Im all for optimism but who we gonna beat?? Away vs Arkansas, maybe. Kentucky? They have looked outstanding for 6 of their last 8 quarters vs Alabama and A&M. Georgia, Tennessee, A&M, OU, Florida?

I freely admit its wishful thinking at this point.

But if I had to pick, Arkansas and Clemson look like the easiest games. OU lost to a Michigan team that doesnt look very good. That could be 5.

Maybe Kentucky doesnt sustain their current level. Maybe A&M crumbles.

Yall are acting like we just got blown out by the citadel…. We lost to a very good and competitive MSU team with an electric QB…. We can still have a great season and now you want to talk about 2-7 to 3-9 ********? Come on now….

No, kiddo. - I've already told you once little boy..... the reason we suck, have sucked, and always will suck is because the BOT, and the University Admins do not take winning seriously.

It has nothing to do with the "fans" - now shut up about it.

while I was rather ticked off earlier and openly advocated for Beamer to be fired, and name Briles as interim, I should not have allowed my disappointment/emotions to get the better of me. It is however time to move on from Sellers as qb, he is not an elite qb, not even a good qb in my opinion, he screws up too much. Please give someone else a chance, real competition is a great tool to get everyone working to improve.

As inept as this administration has been, I say Beamer makes it through this 4-8 season hopefully he will be fired after the Klimpsun loss in Nov!!

I do not know, how much will it cost us in year 6 of this failed experiment to fire Beamer? We are not a wealthy school, we cannot afford to just fire coaches because they suck. Mostly because RT gave them huge buyout contracts after one good season, and now they suck. We have the worst MBB and football coaches in the whole SEC and we are apparently suck with them for a few more years.

If we are lucky we get 3 to 4 wins this season, then we have MBB season to not look forward to…

If Beamer gets fired, it will be at the end of the season. Thats just the way SC rolls.

BTW: I'm on record stating we end up at 5-7. I'm still pretty confident with that prediction

One game at a time folks. If there is anything we can take from the college football so far, there is no telling what will happen on a given Saturday. I don`t think we will win at Bama but UK is beatable - I know, they are much improved, so no easy games left. We shouldn`t wave the white flag after 3 games. Having said that we obviously need to play better on both sides of the ball. Fuller was a real bright spot last night and the long-field goal kicker was awesome. Hope we will need a long field goal to make a difference in a game - didn`t feel that way before seeing those 2 kicks.

Now would be a good time to pull the trigger and part ways with Beamer. IT’S BEEN SIX YEARS OF THIS! He should have been VA Tech’s legacy hire, not ours. We have nothing with Beamer Sr, Beamer Ball trickery that worked somewhat in the ACC.

I agree with your prediction. He's not being let go during the season. That never seems to be much of an advantage anyway.

We had a surplus of 1.3 million last year and that was after the University chipped in 44 million.

It won't happen this year ... UNLESS we go winless the rest of the year. 2-10 and Beamer might just resign for a modest buyout.
