Is there any report of a K1 injury?

I haven't seen any mention if he is recovering from an injury. In the game where he ran for a first down somewhere in the middle of the game he got down early and he seemed to limp slightly when he was headed back to the huddle. He also seemed to be tentative in the 4th quarter when a few runs could have extended drives. It could be that they didn't want him to run with us up by 3 scores, but it did feel like there was some caution in his taking off.

That run where he seemed to limp a little bit afterwards was early in the fourth quarter, on the drive where we kicked the field goal to go up 41-23. We only had the ball on one more possession after that (other than the kneel downs at the end) and we ran the ball twice and then KT was sacked on third down.

I figure he’s in pretty serious need of some R&R this week, but I’m hopeful it’s not more than that.

Obviously I’d love to go 2-0 these next two and crash into the Top 10 (and get that huge Bama Elephant Monkey off our back), but if we can roll into the bye week before LSU at 4-1 with no more serious injuries I see that as very positive.

Outside of KT and Evans, Fluff has emerged for me as a guy we just can’t lose and be anywhere near the same offense. He does so many things.

Announcers mentioned him getting treated with massaging gun on one hamstring, and also it showed him going into medical tent after one of the 2nd half drives. Don’t think its much of a secret.

Don't know if it was instincts or if he was actually managing the hamstring. If he was consciously managing his hamstring man that's pretty high level for a 19 year old with little starting experience.

Beltre used to play through hamstring issues with the Rangers late in his career but he was a seasoned vet. K1 is just special.

He played the remaining of the game even when Lebby was burning clock in the 4th. State could have scored again but I think Lebby took the family play and not.
