Quotes from Steve Sauers on his podcast about his mental health presentation

"My presentation centers on my lifelong battle with OCD, bipolar disorder, and depression. It is a very powerful, emotional, and inspirational speech that ultimately concludes with a message of hope, resilience, and the reassurance that no one is alone in their struggles".

More quotes from Steve Sauers

"Sha get's the most out of his players every year - ask any coach in the Big East. Sha is the perfect coach for SHU, it's a tough job and Shaheen is a tough coach.

And Shaheen still coaches with tough love motivation. He refuses to turn his back on his players, guys have to earn their minutes everyday in practice. And in today's world of NLI and the portal, not many coaches do that anymore. The only other one that comes to mind is Tom Izzo."

The season opener is October 22 against Golden State. This is the schedule as currently released through mid-November — the rest of the season (into 2027) hasn't been published by the NBA yet, so I'm only showing what's confirmed so far. For reference, the Lakers finished last season losing in the Western Conference Semifinals, swept 4-0 by Oklahoma City.
