The Mystics are shooting 74%. That's not too surprising considering they got a bunch of wide open threes and layups.

Won’t keep up.

In spite of Indy not being ready to play, I agree with you. High School could play better defense right now. Make some adjustments, and this won't sustain.

EvilMonkeyInTheCloset · Sep 20, 2026

Holy sh**, these guys suck.

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

Player have to get up on the 3 point shooters. Way too much room for them.

With CC and KM it's pretty easy to imagine a great comeback.

Yeah, if they can get some stops.

hawkeyewx · Sep 20, 2026

What have the Fever been doing in practice for the last three weeks? It is way too easy for the Mystics.

EvilMonkeyInTheCloset · Sep 20, 2026

This is Fran Iowa defense levels of straight garbage.

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

They have to break up the big 3. Otherwise they’ll be floundering as a 4-5 seed for the rest of CCs career.

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

Announcers keep calling Howard, "Ryan". Isn't it "Rhyne"? Amateurs.

They probably do that because that is how it is pronounced.

In your world it is.

Manfredi · Sep 20, 2026

Might as well put Raven in the post.

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

Love how Wash gets up on our 3 point shooters. You watching this SW?

Iowameat · Sep 20, 2026

Well this is a blow out

hawkeyewx · Sep 20, 2026

Jeez, the Fever offense is as bad as the defense. 23 points in 16 minutes is bad for any team, let alone the highest scoring team in history.

GeorgePeeples2 · Sep 20, 2026

Defense: Woof

Offense: Woof.

Down by 20

It’s actually not. It’s just that CC and Km are ice cold. Which means the Fever have no chance. The Fever have no offense. They have 2 guards burdened with literally carrying the team. Every game. Gonna wear down at times. And with the terrible D Fever have no chance in those games.

They're ok. They're just positioning themselves for the playoffs.

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

CC assist title in jeopardy too.

GeorgePeeples2 · Sep 20, 2026

Mystics really cooling off now. Down to only 66% from the field.

Edit: must be the Fever tightening up the D.

Luckily she doesn't worry about individual stats.

WDSMHawk · Sep 20, 2026

Early season Fever are back.

No defense

Bad offense.

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

Might want to find something to do.

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

Now if I’m Cc I’m just hunting assists

hawkeyewx · Sep 20, 2026

This game is worse than the disaster in Portland early in the season.

Manfredi · Sep 20, 2026

Might as well play 5 guards...maybe rebound better too

Her USA teammate has 4. Citron.

Yep, like 10 in a row.

WDSMHawk · Sep 20, 2026

CC 3-10
KM 4-13

Rest of the Fever are 2-14

Yikes

Irafen and Austin 14 rebounds, Fever Team 13.

Someone remind me why they got 6-6 Russell.

Russell is as slow of a player as I've seen in the W...feet are in quicksand

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

White and her challenge staff are morons

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

hawkeyewx · Sep 20, 2026

Even when the Fever get a rare stop, they can't rebound worth a darn.

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

Boston. Go get some rebounds. Impose your will. Good lord.

WDSMHawk · Sep 20, 2026

Sophie hurt or did she get benched for Raven?

Hawksfor3 · Sep 20, 2026

Refs jobbing us.

IowaCityLit · Sep 20, 2026

Boston has to be really hurt, right? I mean what in the world?
