The staff has instilled confidence. They don’t wilt. They play hard and stay with it. Good coaching.
Arnett had a lot to do with that on D. He is a great DC, just got over his skis when Leach died. Not his fault. Great to have him back.
Incredible 2nd half bounce back.
Lake week, we played a bad third quarter but regained our composure.
This week, we got blitzed but hung on and got ourselves right.

Have we ever had this quality at OC and DC at the same time? Without Lebby, I doubt we get all of these wr’s. You could see a huge difference in the D in the second half; I’m going to assume Arnett made some great adjustments.
We have a tough road ahead and things will get tough, but we need to recognize that we have some good coaches now that we have a legit DC.

Zach and y’all’s defense deserves the game ball for keeping yall in it early. SC did not capitalize like they should have. Not sure anyone can stop y’all’s offense when they get going.
Lebby's clock management and overall game management has definitely improved as well. This was big win and much needed. We will be a tough out for anyone that we face. If they sleep walk in we will make them pay this year.
Yes Mullen with shoop and Grantham. Mullen just didn't recruit and coached players up. The year Mullen left, sky was the limit. Look at how bad Moorhead is and what he did with that team.

We did exactly what we had to do to neutralize Sellers. Make him a thrower. He was ready to give us the ball. My only criticism on D was that late blitz that they torched with a screen to the RB. Otherwise ZA played it perfectly.
I fell asleep in the first half. We have had a rough weekend over here. Very proud of these guys for hanging in there.
After that 1st qtr, I was fit to be tied. I cussed everthing that wasn't tied down. Turned the TV off knowing full well how this was going to end. Later, after the game was over I decided to check the final score on ESPN and was amazed that we one. Not sure that has ever happen in MSU recent history. Unfortunately, several of the early pre-polls don't have us ranked. What the heck does it take. Great second half and win but I wish we could have made it out of the stadium without a serious injury.
Lebby still doesn't know how to manage a game, and we will be cursing him for costing us a win or two this season. If that sack fumble at the end of the half had held up, I don't know if we recover.
Not disagreeing with you but I think a lot (if not most) of the confidence comes having a QB that you know will make the plays if you do your job.
Was playing in a golf tourney in South Carolina yesterday in my State script polo. I was surrounded by overconfident cocks (not that there is anything wrong with that) getting encouragement from the Clemson fans (who were weeping as they were down big to UNC) and **** from the USCe fans. One rather inebriated young guy walked up an bet me $100 straight up on State/USCe. We shook on it and exchanged info. To his credit, midway through the 4th quarter I get a text asking for my Venmo.
