How amazing is Lebby’s offense?

We watched KT grow up tonight. Early adversity, then dominance
We need to find money to keep KT and find him a top notch LT. You have to think WR’s won’t be too hard to attract with this offense. People ***** and moan about Lebby, and he conjures up a head scratcher from time to time, but dude is a good coach with a bad *** offense.
I think KT will attract plenty of Oline talent over the offseason
Have to find 5 OL and 5 DL in the portal and 3 LB’s

I don't see anything that special about his scheme. He has WRs with incredible speed and ability, and a QB who can throw 50 yard darts with a flick of the wrist. Throw in some misdirection and you will score a lot.

The receivers do little things well to create space. If pure speed was it, there’s plenty available out there.
Hahaha. His scheme is one of most challenging to defend in college football. Choice routes are a pain to defend. You will have a qb throw interceptions but it’s a high risk high reward offense that is easy to understand once you been in it for a year or two.
It's amazing when you have the right personnel -- starting with a truly elite QB. So I feel certain this offense is going to be a lot of fun for us to watch for these next two years.

He called a good game too. Even if it started bad and got wonky at the end. He's done a great job so far.
Hope he wins enough games to get looked at by other teams - if he gets an offer from a blueblood with the understanding that he brings KT with him, next year might not be what I am hoping for.
But honestly, it's not unreasonable for us to hope for a playoff berth -- we will certainly have chances -- this year. Next year we should expect it.
Hats off to our defense too. We may be thin (and getting thinner), but Arnett called a fantastic game and those guys can play!
That was a HUGE 17n win -- and plenty of mistakes to correct and opportunities to grow and get better.

Yup. We’ve had plenty of fast receivers that weren’t very good. I don’t know if it’s recruiting or coaching or a combination both, but hard to complain about our WR talent with Lebby and how they play.
Leach coached up WRs but didn’t really have an elite one. I would say most of our good wide receivers from the past excluding moulds and maybe Polk (was that the guy we had one year with leach? Makai Polk or something like that?) would be third options at best with Lebbys teams.
Our route running is good and they sell the deceptive part of routes well to create space.
We do need a left tackle or Milo needs to improve. The rest of the line played well. Our center will not be back but I think we have his replacement already. I bet McVay gets better as the year goes on. That was a real good Dline we were playing against.
Everybody on offense is available to return next year, except for Boone, Johnson, and Evans. We need some more depth at OL, and another WR or 2, and maybe a back up TE. We're set on O.
