If NC State gave a crap at all about winning they would have fired DD long ago. He should be fired after that crap today. His teams make really stupid mistakes all the time. At some point they need to hold him accountable.

They should have told everyone on the O-line to wrap up their opponent and hold as if their lives depended on it. It would give the QB time to burn the clock before the safety. Just like this.... Or maybe the rule for that is different in college.

We just happened to be sitting next to James Jett (Raiders) at the casino, and I asked him if he had ever seen a worse ending to a game in his life, lol.. That was brutal

Bailey was probably used to being the best athlete on the field in high school and thought he could make a play. Not anymore. Ugh.

Actually, we might start seeing more of these “bizarre” and unexplainable plays given the massive hold gambling has on sports now. Maybe the NCAA/Feds can look into late game betting on this game to try and find odd bets. It’s how they caught that baseball closer

That’s not how you run that play. You run along the back line of the end zone and step out of the back of the end zone as soon as a defender gets close. My god we practiced that play when I was in high school in the late 60s.

Agreed. Doeren messed up and Bailey somehow made it even worse
