Montini 21-14 start of 3q. Montini is likely to win this game but they may be the worst good team I’ve ever seen. They look awful every game. Actually putrid.

Montini 34-21 5:45 left. Charlie Bliss may be my least favorite offensive coordinator. Passes on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 and converts with a 40 yard touchdown.

I have no clue if Montini actually won this game bc the stream cut out with 1 minute left Montini winning 42-35. It was Montini ball on Carmel 45 in a 4th and 6.

My nephew just stopped by (Montini FB Class of ‘26). He said Montini was forced to punt very late, so Carmel had it with a chance to tie or steal a win with a TD plus 2. But they had no timeouts and ultimately ran out of time. 42-35 Final

Thanks. They did everything they could to lose that game. They were about to go up 48-28 and ice the game and they fumbled on a 40 yard run with 2 minutes left.

These score lines are shocking. Always to the very last minute. Mental mistakes and an ineffective defense that produces nail-biter after nail-biter.

Pretty sure he was talking about Carmel… Montini has state runner up Rita , Marist away, 8A Sandburg, perennial Naz away and state champ franny … they are in the green division yes?

Unfortunately I don’t think he was. He hates that Montini has scheduled Hoopeston and DeLasalle.
