Stop with the bashing of the ad at every turn. She's got more important things to do like firing the HC.
Where was all this faux rage with prior AD’s? Ad’s that truly dropped the ball. Kelli has been here for a year and has accomplished more to raise the professional standard in that department than all of her predecessor’s combined.

When the ESB is lit up in garnet and gold, then I’ll be concerned.

We get good, this kind of stuff will occur.

As I said in another thread we are the only game, of its kind, in town.

Stuff happens, good stuff, and we are the prince of the City.

Great…a practical home game for that la team that belongs in the traditional PAC and not the B1G.
100%! College sports are now the only sports sample of not having geographic groups of teams. It’s ridiculous and I hope we can revert some time in the future

I’m not disagreeing that we shouldn’t be doing this, but to blame Kelli is ridiculous, and to ruin my thread is just pissing me the **** off.

Thanks a lot.

I agree this should be done. This falls squarely on the band and marketing department. More so than the AD. But Your exact words were “keli and Rutgers continues to drop the ball”. Kelli’s been the job one year. I stand by what I said.
Reading is fundamental. Im sorry your education failed you

Nope. School needs this, should be an occurrence at this point. Major fail
You are in the minority here, except for perhaps @bac2therac , who I respect and agree with on other items. You make it sound like the AD is the marching band director. She's not. There's a thing called delegation, and as I said, far more important things on the AD's plate right now.

Likely IMHO….they would typically have 12-15K a giant stadium for the kickoff classic. Lots of alumni in the Boston to DC corridor.
I feel like USC's band is possibly collaborating with RU's band for the halftime show tomorrow. Wouldnt be the first time we've collabed with other B1G bands in football.

I was in the RU band our first 4 years in the Big Ten when we traveled to almost every away game, including out of conference. I got to travel with the band to Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, Army, Washington (when they were PAC - Ash first game). The band also did trips to Indiana, Ohio State, MSU (I didnt go to those as they would only send about 25 people and rotate amongst the seniors mainly). Many of these games we were invited to play with the home band at halftime, or post game show. I’ll never forget playing at halftime at the Big House, in front of 100k where most actually stay in their seats to see the show, it was crazy. The 5th quarter at Wisconsin is also an amazing tradition. It was truly one of the best experiences of my life and one of the great things about college football.

There is a facebook page “I’m a Member of a Big Ten Band” where we would post ahead of time that we were coming, and the other bands would coordinate to pick us up from the hotel, bring us around campus, to their pep rallies the night before the games, and to their fun band “gatherings” after the games. They would make and bring custom goodie bags to our section during the game for everyone.

We would play at the pregame pep rally “Off the Banks” and bring the atmosphere in the stadium.

I’m really disappointed to see that the RU band has stopped doing this for some reason (presumably like everything else, money) … I hate to see such an amazing part of college football go away to pour millions into other things. I’m happy the USC band has come to NYC/NJ and hope they get to perform with the RU band.

I think it was great to see the USC bank in NYC. I do agree it would have been greater if RU bank was there as well.
