This is a tough one because I have been watching a few of the games to keep up with Trae Taylor and while he is playing very well the team does not appear to justify their national rank at all. I mean they look nothing like a top 50 team nationally, but maybe I'm just bad at evaluating teams. I will take Ritter. I think ESL would beat Millard South by alot more than they would beat Ritter by so that's my frame of reference. Ritter also seems to have more D1 talent on the team overall.

Imagine local rankings but a lot worse when you think of national rankings.
Coaches know when the talent is going to materialize into a special team. There may be years when Ritter and ESL make sense - and they have played before. But in other years, there is CBC and DeSmet who will be the big dogs. At some point, Lift for Life will be up there.

Millard prevailed 55-40, with Trae toting the rock 17-ish times. He did other things well too.

Smh. Some pretty terrible officiating on that play. The flag at the end for celebrating was a head scratcher
