They are also come in yesterday instead of their usual Friday. I wonder if this is them "out thinking" themselves. While I appreciate the effects of jet lag, a 3:30 game on the east coast is not really different than a 12:30 kickoff at home. I appreciate it took them 8 hours to get here (5 hour flight with a 3 hour time change), but I don't think they needed to get on EDT as it appears they did. But what do I know? We'll see tomorrow.

Makes sense for both teams. Arizona cardinals offset the cost of maintaining the jet, paying flight crew, stewardesses, and lower per hour operating costs. Also little known fact, Modern aircraft do not do well just sitting on the tarmac. Modern big jet airframes, engines, flight controls, avionics are built to basically keep running non stop for tens of thousands of flight hours. Those systems are built to be run basically non stop. Probably a good deal for both teams. Maybe Rutgers should strike a deal with th jets or Giants.
That’s a nice configuration. A lot of programs charter in the B1G including ours. Talked to the USC women’s vball coach at BWI when flying to Maryland. He told me they fly public to schools with an airport with an hour. If it’s more than that charter. Assume that goes for all of their programs. Our lax team flies one to three times a year. They charter. It’s all very common in the conference. The difference is SC is chartering a luxury plane. Good to be them. Alums there have a lot of money and they like winning. Wife is an SC alum. It’s part of the culture. They learn early. You will donate to the school when you graduate. It’s expected of you.
I had just that experience this week reinforcing that about Rutgers. They never get it right, and it never ceases to amaze on the level of dysfunction.

Thank God Coach Brecht has been able to shield the lacrosse program from the malaise of the U. That’s a tight run organization. I have noticed since Zinn has been here things on the communication/fundraising front have gotten noticeably better. She knows how to build that apparatus. The U as a whole could learn a lot
