Ads and Membership Levels

The ads are becoming overwhelming, both on my phone and my laptop. Am I correct in understanding that in addition to paying to be a premium member, if I want to go ad-free I have to pay extra to be a super premium member who can actually read the content without fighting the ads?
If correct, pretty ironic considering that a number of the ads are for highly discounted membership rates...for which I'm not eligible as a long-time subscriber.

Removing the ads just depends on whether BuckSanders and Greg Barnes like you or not.

Perhaps you could try sucking up to the PTB more or maybe just be a bit more likable overall and get that taken care of.

The network continues to experiment with different ad setups to figure out what works best. There's definitely a balance between a good user experience and being able to generate ad revenue that they need to find.

We highly recommend you try using the app. It's by far the best user experience for subscribers in terms of navigation, ad presence, etc. Search "On3" in the app store. Let me know if I can assist you with that setup.

The alternative to using the app, if you want to minimize ads, is that ad-free upgrade option.

Regarding promotions, our rule of thumb has always been that every subscriber gets to start on a promotional rate, as you did.

App is awful that last few days. ShopRite ad pops up and blocks the entire article multiple times.

Can you send me a screenshot? I'm sure it's a rogue campaign that's snuck through. Not seeing it on my end when trying to find it this AM. Screenshot enables the tech team to find and remove it.

I have not seen it since the day I saw it all the time. So maybe it worked itself out. I will do it if I see it again.
