dook gets Stanford missing six starters and us missing five (six if you include Malsom).
This is just silly.
This is just silly.
I’m really glad we’re playing really well.
Was worried it was going to be let down with so many players out.
Just think I saw Maximo Adams and some of the basketball guys.
Lilliah, Izzi and Shaela say... Nah we got you.

What a win.
Down 5 starters, one of the most impressive sports wins I’ve seen from a Tar Heel team in any sport.
Really dominated them. Easily could have been 5-6 goals.
Defense was really impressive as well.

6,700 at Dorrance tonight! Great crowd! Excellent W 4-2 over the satanic-ettes!
Don’t worry Lilly, you’ll play in front of that many again in December.
The crowd being down all those players playing your archrival. That was a satisfying UNC victory in any sport as I’ve seen in a long time
I agree.
Many would have guessed this would be a blowout, and going by what we had, it wouldn’t have been a hot take.
That was an awesome game to watch. Great win.
I usually have a lot to say, but right now I’m speechless. What a freaking A+ effort by our girls tonight!!! Congrats ladies, you absolutely deserved that one!
I have been critical of this team this year but tonight they make me eat some delicious crow. Not just because we beat dook but because they played a really good, smart, inspired game. And #14 (Manning) looks like a future star to me. Go Heels.
I’m starting a petition to move Lilliah Blum to the 10 position permanently. What an unbelievable effort from her tonight, she played like an All American. Two goals and a beautiful assist on the Bradley missile. Incredible individual performance amongst many of them tonight.

Really excited to see what we can do at full strength. The girls are getting better.
Good opportunity Sunday to get the Olympic girls back in tune with the team.

The announced attendance on tv of 6,700 made me wonder, since I didn’t think the stadium had that capacity, and a check on GoHeels lists 4,200 individual seats… there must’ve been a ton of SRO bodies around the concourse. Great atmosphere, regardless!
Was busy tonight, decided to just read this thread to see what happened. Very happy! Eat s__t dook. #2, don’t think so.
Wow 5 probable starters out against #2 Duke- NEVER count out a UNC team when their back is against the wall. Tonight felt like Blum’s coming‑out party. And Stratton… she didn’t start early in the year, stayed patient, kept working, and now she’s cashing in. Bradley misses almost all of last season with an injury, comes back this year, and makes a big impact when needed the most.
I love these stories. Great reminders that your path won’t always look perfect at the start. But if you keep your head down, stay committed, and trust your work, it has a way of turning out exactly how it should. With this mindset this will be an exciting team to watch.

Seriously that Shaela Bradley goal at the end was one of my favorite memories of UNC women’s soccer ever. It was so unexpected, it was so badass, and the absolute joy and elation the entire team went into was something out of a movie. One in a million moments like that are why I watch (and love) sports.
So many other incredible performances tonight…will have to discuss more later. It’s late but wow what a win.

Honestly, I was going to make a similar comment but didn’t want to downplay what we just did.
They’ve had a pretty light schedule. The Stanford win was good, but Stanford had over half of their starters out.
Dook is good but don’t think they’re #2.
Another fine showing by our student athletes.
I just got home. What a win. Place was electric. Eat **** dook

They said 6791 attendance officially In the broadcast. The most ever in a home regular season game.

this team.Honest to god, I told my buddy walking in that it was probably 2-0 to dook. But if Carolina scored first, there might be a game. At best, they would maybe tie. I did NOT see that coming.
At the 12 minute mark, it started to spit rain and UNC dropped into a mid block and I thought that was going to be a LONG 12 minutes to hold on. Then Shaela Brady: "I got this".

Oh, Antonucci was out of the knee brace and running around freely.
