10 years ago today NDSU won in Kinnick

That team went on to win the FCS title, actually a lot of those players won multiple of them. We got Polasek out of that too so yeah they were a lot better than you give them credit.

Yeah, it was only a 14.5 pt spread

They were good but that was the weakest ND St team in a five year stretch. ND St. Did not win a national title in 2016. Damn I hated walking out of stadium after that loss. Loss still pisses me off.

That was coming off a 42-3 a$$ whooping against the clowns too

Ugh don't remind me, was there and made my young son cry...we looked absolutely listless out there, nobody seemed interested and several players were injured or not playing which didn't help.

And once again, did we really lose that game without the inclusion of idiot officials doing boneheaded things in the last minute or so. Do you remember the first onside kick? After NDST score to climb within 2 pts iirc they were in kickoff formation, everyone was ready, but the ref by the kicker wouldnt let him kick while the playclock was winding down. Totally stupid not to reset the playclock to 25 seconds.

The kick was finally made right as the playclock hit 0:00, the hawks recovered and game over, but wait, the idiot head ref back by the hawk kick returners throws a flag and said Delay of Game. Well how can it be a delay of game with a stopped game clock when the refs are holding up the kick with the play clock running.

Wow the hawk coaches, players and a lot of fans were livid. A lot of fans couldnt figure out what was happening. And of course, NDST recovers the do over onside kick. Just a shame

Why not kick me in the balls so I remember that even more lol? Seriously was the most doom and gloom game I have been to in a long time …. Even our family members (mom and dad and younger sis RIP) as we were at one another’s throats after that sheet show … was not a good day all around

One day I want revenge on those *******. Run them off the field kind of revenge.
