Will Will Wade even be able to field a team this year? Currently the official LSU basketball page lists only four players. I know Wade has gotten commits from some other guys, but most of those guys have major eligibility issues. Even if a few of them clear, LSU might only have a roster of like seven or eight for the whole season. Mo has done got himself into an absolute mess; I guess he'll at least get all of the playing time he can handle. LSU seems to have genuinely decided only football matters, possibly to the point that they don't even have a basketball team to put on the floor (speaking hyperbolically, kinda).

Would be quite hilarious if they could only field a 4 man roster. LMFAO! Perhaps they could implement a 1-2-1 zone.
I'll be their fifth player and I'll do it cheap.

If that were to happen. Wonder what that would do to MO D’s NIL money.

I suspect the amount of money in the contracts that would be breached between the conference, ESPN and player’s NIL will force their hand to fill the team with walk ons

I don’t understand what Wade is trying to do. Like there were plenty of transfers available to field a team. Plenty end up without schools.

Yeah, I’m respectfully calling BS on your source having anything close to reliable info. Learned early on that 95% of the dialog at bar association meetings is egotistical clowns trying to pretend they have heightened importance. Government lawyers are especially notorious for trying to beat their chests after the big hitters walk in the room. Tell me it’s somehow different with bar meetings in Arkansas? The SEC would expel LSU from the conference if this ever happened, similar to when Tulane was expelled from the Metro Conference over basketball problems.
