Hopefully he tells Pope to do the same or hit the road.
There was also this hire, but I didn’t see much talk on it:
Yea, forgot about this one.
Uk has more overhead than pro teams

Imo this is on the llc side of things since the llc is in control of any general nil collective donation. Previously, this was done by jmi but it's too early to tell if this will usurp that jmi function or just essentially be upstream from it.
The other interesting part is waiting to see if his next move is to try to pull the more grass roots gm function over to the ad/llc and away from coaches.

I'd like to offer my services to UK as Special Deputy General Associate Assistant AD for Fatuous Whimsy. I'm flexible on salary so long as we're talking six figures.
That used to be the ncaa's favorite phrase, even though they never did anything for the true "student athlete"Student Athlete…
The bureaucracy does what it always does - get bigger.
And if you get that job would you maybe need an assistant? I'm also flexible as long as it's six figures.
Need to fire Rachel Newman Baker, she’s the JMI plant (married to an exec there).
I like this. Batt doesn't seem to be stuck in the past.
I just read on KSR that UK is “entering the final planning stages of an on-campus entertainment district”
You know what’s entertaining to me? Winning f**ing games.
Our sports programs are quickly becoming the Cincinnati Reds.

Wah, wah, wah. For 3 years we've all screamed for a new AD that does things differently. Not 3 months on the job and you guys are moaning about his performance. Give the man some time to do his job for God's sake. All you guys want to do is wallow in your negativity and drag the program further with your bitching.
Yeah, a strip bar selling non-alcoholic beer and rice crispie treats, probably.
I just hope this guy helps us stick a couple elite guys that we may not have gotten if he wasnt here.
People really really need to stop having opinions on everything. Especially things they dont understand. It’s ruining the world.
This group has an uncanny ability to quickly provide the name of the individual responsible for whatever doesn’t go well. Then they quickly attack the replacement if they disagree with any action. I do question the increasing bureaucracy When we were near bottom of SEC spending.
