CERI has not detected significant activity lately along the Iowa City-Clinton bedrock fault line or along the Amana-Plum River-Sabula bedrock fault line.
While the odds are nonzero of a Richter Scale 8.0+ quake next Saturday in the New Madrid tectonic zone, one should be able to attend the game without incident.

The threat of OTHER entities raining destruction on us such as Kaiju, Murder Hornets, Bubonic Plague, and/or Jörmungandr triggering Ragnarok are as of yet undetermined.

Good thing they post snipers atop the building to the SE of Kinnick so they have line of site down Melrose. Just in case.

All quiet on the kaiju front. HOWEVER….there have been rumors that King Ghidora may make a North American appearance. This would be extremely rare, if true. I am monitoring the situation and will update closer to game day.

Early reports of a North American appearance by King Ghidora proved to be false, as he was last seen heading towards Australia.

Kaiju post no threat to today’s game.

The mighty Iowa City-Clinton bedrock fault shows little (current) threat of rupturing.

(no guarantees regarding Murder Hornet swarms though)

No, because neither the dreaded Iowa City-Clinton bedrock faultline nor the equally (potentially) lethal Amana-Plum River-Sabula bedrock fault line show imminent signs of dislocation. I CAN guarantee our relative safety over the next 48 hour time frame.
