Man talk about a pivotal game. Win?? We are likely ranked going into Bama. And with Arkansas, Kentucky and Clemson looking mediocre (at best)…..a bowl season looks likely. LOSE?? And probably lose at Bama?? Suddenly the seat gets red hot.
I cannot envision a scenario where we sniff 6 wins if we lose to MSUlose this game and we are likely looking at a 6-6 season. I believe this game will tell us much about our team.
This game will defintely be a defining moment for this coache's future, a win and everyhting is Unicorns and Rainbows, a top 25 ranking, and a LOSS and they will be lucky to win 6 games.. So, you never know in a conference game in the SEC, but if this squad cant handle a "good" miss st team, i dont see but maybe one or two games they will be favored to win...
Oh, Believe me, i am not argung, but a win, you move into top 25 IMO, you gain much needed confidence going into a Brutal stretch, but confidence can not be understated!!If we win, it may not mean we're a good team. If we lose, it's means we're not a good team.
With a loss, I can see only Arky as a likely win. UK and Clemson would be tossups.
IMO, we need the MSU win to even get to 6 wins.
