In elementary school one day they gave us beets with turkey and dressing and I thought it was cranberry sauce. That was a dirty trick to play on a boy who loved cranberry sauce. Last time I ate beets.
Don't know what ever started it.
Went the way of "Switched at Birth" threads from years ago.
We make a cranberry chutney instead of the sauce.
They were some weird acting dudes and it bled over to us some; there were a couple of times i could almost see one of those carnival cruise line throw downs threatening to break out. That’s why I hate these kind of games although they’re a necessary evil now; they don’t have a chance, they know it, we know it, but everyone has to go thru the motions anyway. They’re a bit flustered once the game starts which makes them easily agitated, we’re bored for lack of a better analogy and just reporting for an exhibition that we’re obligated to participate in. Neither side benefits football-wise from the game; each just want to get it over with and move on. Meanwhile the fans expect a vicious blowout to confirm whatever it is they think they need confirmed until the next week when they’ll need confirmation again, but at least then there’s meaning to the games.
