I’m more concerned about our defense this year, especially after watching the Kent State game.

You may be correct — I just walked in the house right before the deluge so I can’t speak yet about this game but last weeks performance was not impressive considering the opponent.

I think let weeek’s oppoonent is better than this one!! I think the were reading the press clippings!!

If the offense plays like this next week, we'll struggle to stay in the game. Hopefully we get things cleaned up this coming week.

The Michigan vs Oklahoma game today gives me hope for next week's Miss St game.....LOL They made corrections, so maybe we will too.

I am still cautiously optimistic, I believe this team is going to show improvement, we have much better coaches on the offensive side of the ball this year, just give it some time. Go Gameocks!

I stand by my assessment of the defense. The secondary is weak and the front is nonexistent. This is Towson.

I felt like we definitely should have been getting more consistent pressure on their QB. We seemed to shut down their run game pretty well, but we should have had a field day rushing the QB. I’m not as concerned about the D as I am about the O.

I would say it's even more concerning if we just consider those games practices. Towson isn't just an FCS team. They're a bad FCS team. We should have been able to do anything we wanted to do, at will, on offense.

Running for 400 yards seems to indicate we did run at will. Weather didn’t help the offense and receivers couldn’t catch. With the rain and delay I’m not gonna read too much into our performance.
We all knew after the SC state game last year we were in trouble and Vandy solidified it.
