Mine is simple. Dark chocolate. Brewers chocolate is what I like best. I also like a good coffee ice cream with hot fudge, along with the occasional banana split.
My wife is addicted to Peanut Butter Party, made by Blue Bunny.

Personal favorite is cookie dough, and when I'm making ice cream at home a few times a summer I make coffee, which I also love. And I use the old school churner with rock salt. GTFO with your Cusinart and Ninja wannabes.

I really don't have a favorite. I'm a mood eater. I like blueberry cheesecake but it's hard to find. I prefer vanilla when I'm at home. I can fix it so many ways, banana splits, sundaes, etc. Turkey Hill is the best ice cream for me. Nothing comes close, even those high dollar varieties.

I agree with that. I have the electric old school rock salt and ice churner, but my wife bought the Cusinart one a few years ago and that’s that she uses. It doesn’t make enough ice cream to be with the effort.

I've never liked the texture of the new-age-machine ones. They come out more like a custard or yogurt.

My ninja creami....whatever flavor I want, loaded in protein with very little calories.


Ted and Wally's in Omaha Old Market area was elite stuff too. Contributed to my ten pound weight gain in two weeks out there covering the Heels.

Does anyone remember the little cups that came with a flat wooden spoon? That was our go to when I was a kid many years ago.

No. They were little round cups of ice cream with a pull tag on the lid and a flat wooden spoon bigger on one end.

If you like cookie dough ice cream, this may be one of the best. Got some this past weekend and it hit all the cookie dough ice cream notes. Many don't do the cookie dough bits very well. The big chocolate chips were a love added texture. Yes, I am a fatty boom batty.

People sleep on Publix ice cream. It’s soo good. Their limited edition flavors are usually really good also. The Bananas Foster is probably my favorite.
