It's our 5th game. We've got enough experience this team to not play that poorly. No excuses for that.
We’ve got 2 freshman playing big mins and several other girls that haven’t played a bunch in their careers.
5 games isn’t a lot.
This is the most inexperienced team we’ve had in recent memory.
An experienced team wouldn’t have looked like that:

Lots to process after this one. Super disappointing from a defensive standpoint. Someone please check on Van Sickle, she can’t be well after that performance.
I don’t think this one points to our youth, as our more senior players made pivotal, more glaring mistakes throughout the game in my opinion.

Yep, the youth should up along with the inexperience.
We are going to have a lot of growing pains. As someone said we have veteran players who have not played much in their careers. That is why building depth is so crucial. We let them off the hook. They did not finish them off. They took the gas off of the petal when they were up 4 to 1. They will continue to learn and get better each game whether they win or lose. Another lessen to be learn. We have to stay positive during these times. I know it is easier said then done. I hope the football team will not do the same thing tomorrow against ETSU. They have to put those guys away in football tomorrow. I hope our young ladies will remember this stink moving forward by them not putting ODU away and letting them back into the game.
I agree with everything you just said except for being out coached. EM and staff do have these girls ready to play. The coaching staff cannot teach them the desire to put a team away. This comes from within. Each player on our team has to have the desire and fire to want to put a team away. We must have our veteran players to some emotion on the side lines when a time out is called. They have to be a voice for the coaching staff. I think we have a veteran player who has that fire. They seem to be chore boys. No one wants to say something. I would think Charley B or Coco, or EB would be those people to do this, be the leaders. The coaches cannot do it all the time. I do not care if a freshmen does this.
Accountability. It does not have to be yelling and screaming all of the time.
Miller, O’Donnel, and Ferri all start in their first year playing. 3 top subs, Narleski, Nussbaumer and Moorhead also in their 1st year.
(Miller and Narleski were both out injured their true freshman years)
two other starters are in their 2nd year as well as the other two top subs.
