Dingle's inability to understand human corruption is so cute.
I know the hoops hog operations have to jump through to hire employees. He may hire immigrant labor but only if they have the proper paperwork. They submit that to the feds for them to verify. At that point it’s up to the federal government to go after people with fake documents. There is no way in hell Pillen knowingly employs illegals. Anybody saying that he does is either a liar or complete moron.

What the **** does that have to do with Husker Sports?
Stick your political crap up your AZZ.
He’s a dumb **** Hawkeye fan. Degrades Nebraska yet doesn’t want to address the large amount of methamphetamine production that occurs in his favorite state. I’m not surprised Hawkeye lover would get on the topic of hogs but he thinks of his wife often

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: What a bunch of erroneous word juggling that liberal rag throws out there. Its an absolute joke to anyone that has employed dozens to 100's of people. Sure fake or shared ID's and SS #'s are common as is shared work visas etc. That's not the employers responsibility to play police. They also expire so your article claiming ID's or Visas were ok at Pillen farms but years later they were denied at a construction job:ROFLMAO:No context why. just hearsay Lib BS target the guys who own businesses and pay 60% of the nations taxes

Business interests from sectors that have higher probabilities of employing immigrants with sketchy papers are not too keen on upping verification regulations. Some of them, like Pillen, are big hawks on immigration. So they benefit from the arrangement financially, but are also fine cheering on the immigrant labor being disposed of.

Just like all the big leftist that hire them for cheap labor avoid labor unions to do all the construction work gardening. Just see California they are a classic example, even the left wing moving industries produce movies elsewhere than California to avoid the unions

^^^ This article give the details and specific people.

Since you will say it is a liberal news link and won't actually read it I'll post the key items in it that explain "Proof"... but I know how this works.

- Fake News
- Unreliable Source
- Show me a conservative news source that has the same info

Well if I show you other sources you will automatically call the liberal and fake.

So here is a few other sources

Anyway... since you won't open the links Here are some of the "Proof" parts you were looking for...

"His company, Pillen Family Farms, has taken on undocumented workers as it has grown into one of the nation’s largest hog producers, according to a review of state and federal court records and interviews with more than 40 current and former employees, prosecutors, immigration lawyers and community organizers."

"David Armendariz, a Mexican who overstayed his tourist visa in 2008, said he worked at two Pillen farms until 2023. When he was hired, he recalled in an interview, a farm manager accepted the fake driver’s license he had purchased. The same ID was rejected years later, he said, when he applied for a construction job elsewhere.

Over the years, Armendariz said, more Hispanic workers arrived at the farms, many of them undocumented. One co-worker changed his name multiple times, he said, and another went by a different name from the one on his sign-in sheets. Armendariz said he was open about his own status. “Everyone knows that it’s not your name,” he said, “but they don’t ask you what your name is.
"

"Quinten Rowley, who managed two boar farms for Pillen’s business until 2022, said the company ramped up background checks for applicants about the time Pillen decided to run for governor. After that, Rowley said, he had to turn away more applicants."

"Samuel Bethune, Platte County’s public defender until 2009, said he had represented hundreds of undocumented immigrants every year, most of them employed in meatpacking plants. He recalled that a few clients charged with traffic offenses identified themselves as Pillen workers but lacked valid employment documents.

ICE identified no records of audits or inspections at Pillen farms in the past 15 years after a request from The Times and Flatwater. The federal agency has raided relatively few workplaces in Nebraska. The largest and highest-profile one was an Omaha meatpacking plant where more than 70 workers were arrested in June 2025 over alleged identity theft.

After the raid, Pillen suggested in interviews that ICE would not target established immigrants. “Anybody that is here working hard and being a good neighbor, they’re A-OK, they’re fine,” the governor told the Nebraska Examiner. But he also said that stealing identities was a “grave offense."

Is that enough "Proof?"

It never is, because it goes against all that you stand for and goes against the narrative. You see the problem here is that it look bad and there for can't be true. Well, by all account this is factual data as far as I can see.

Pillen and every other livestock operation does their best to screen applicants. It’s the feds job to detect fraudulent papers. Tough for the feds when you’re f’n left wing zealots shut down the funding for that agency.

One of my in-laws has a large hog operation. They have a lot of Hispanic employees. They’ve never been “raided”. What has happened is the feds will make an inquiry as to when a particular employee might be on site so they can interview him. Then they’ll show up and haul one guy off. In one case he unknowingly had a wanted felon with false documents working for him but somebody at another location tipped him off that the feds were in town looking for him. NOBODY in the livestock business with ANY sense knowingly hires illegals. The potential penalties are too high.

Your game is to twist factual information to fit your agenda. Has Pillen’s business hired illegals? Probably. Did his employees hire them knowingly? No f’n way and you know it.
I am explaining to you he did employ illegals. That is what was asked to be proven and I did just that.

Do I think Pillen wanted illegals, no... Do I think he cared all that much before becoming Governor... not at all! He cared about getting the work done at the cheapest cost, to make as much money as he could. That is how Capitolism works and how I believe he ran his business. I 💯 believe he didn't order his management staff to do extensive BG checks, and therefore had many illegal immigrants working for him.

The HEADLINE is misleading and promotes a false interpretation of the facts. As far as I’m concerned that makes you a liar.

Pillen Farms enrolled in the e-verify system the same day for he announced for Gov. You seem to be hung up on “knowingly”. This isn’t a court of law. It seems his business had no interest in tightening up its hiring procedures until he decided to run for Gov. There is evidence of 20 cases, including managers. Knowledge of this was obvious to those working at the facilities, yet I’m expected to swallow that he didn’t know. Well, there were probably several people that worked for him that could’ve given him that answer had he asked. What we are talking about is plausible deniability. And that’s exactly what I thought a lot of people who post politics stuff to this board hated.

And we all know that hack of 'news source' would have been at the scene if a raid occurred letting everyone know that these people are all hardworking, family, faith oriented employees....so what's the problem you have?? Surely we can all agree, the top priority is removing the illegal criminals, repeat violent offenders who have no intention of contributing anything worthwhile to our country types...of course some of your ilk will defend them with their own life.

As a former employer I KNOW there was an established practice to report hire prior to e-verify. That said, do you believe in your teeny little mind that Pillen was the one hiring the people working in his confinements? You’re an idiot if you think that.

They can leave whenever they want, they aren't forced to work there. You slow?
Pillen has multiple huge businesses. He doesn’t manage or run any of the day to day operations and hasn’t for years. My in-law hires somebody else to run the day to day crap and that consultant does all of his hiring.

Pillen would have to be irretrievably stupid to think that given his business, he wasn’t routinely employing undocumented folk. And if the prior established practice was okey dokey, why enroll in e-verify the day he announced for Gov?
The truth is that he wasn’t particularly worried about the immigration status of his employees until it was in his interest to be so. That might be OK with you. It isn’t for me.

The problem is dingle you keep changing your tune. First it’s Pillen would never hire a known illegal. Now it’s he doesn’t handle the day to day operations hiring- firing etc.. as the WV guy said Jim would have to be incredibly naive to think at some point in his operations he wouldn’t possibly employ an illegal. I like Jim voted for him and will again. But let’s be realistic.

If anyone seriously believes Pillen isn't knowingly hiring illegals, they are kidding themselves.
