Their QB is getting a lot of buzz after their week 1 game against UL Monroe.

It'll be interesting to see how they perform against Minnesota this week and a higher level of competition before we have them in Week 3.

It won't surprise me if this is the year MSSt takes a big step up. They have been pretty quiet for a while now and it appears their QB is legit. It would also be typical for one of the gamecock's "sure win games" to end up being a loss because the opponent got a lot better than they were the year before.

If they look good against Minnesota, that could spell trouble in Columbia the next week.

My current stance is that Kamario Taylor’s stock will rise dramatically and quickly.

No way. Not against us. No obscure QB has ever came into WB and had a record setting game. Ever🙄

Not a QB, but anytime I think of some random player going off against us, I'll never forget our 1996 game against ECU. Scott Harley ran ALL over us for 291 yards. I was listening on the radio and screaming "tackle the freaking guy!" I think he was one of the top rushers in college football that season and ECU was pretty good. But, dang, as many times I heard his name called over the radio, I'll never forget that name as long as I Iive.

Shooting for the jinx?
Ha I’m not a superstitious person. He looked really comfortable in the pocket and scanned the field well. Borderline elite athlete, from what I saw, when he leaves the pocket. I personally think the secondary can really shut Mississippi States receiver down but he’s probably gonna get his yards on the ground.

Sneaky good matchup for them against Minnesota, today. If he plays well, I’ll officially be concerned. Though, I really do have a good feeling about our team. I just don’t see us losing in September! 😳 And FWIW, I don’t know a more pessimistic Gamecock Fan than myself. Like, I’ve pissed many people off because of it. I really think we can be good…but can be and will be are 2 different things. And now the pessimism is settling back in…

But he’s the kind of QB that gives us fits. Of course, many types of QBs have given us fits…but I’ll just be concerned if he plays well against Minnesota. That’s my point…

....and Jojo Kemp for Kentucky. They had to give him oxygen he was so tired from running all over us.

Those Wally Burnham defenses in the '90s under Brad were very forgettable. There was one season (maybe '95) where the opposing running back for three weeks in a row was like National offensive player of the week.

Taylor is looking like one of the best QBs in the country. Towson’s QB made some really good plays against our D.

This is shaping up to be a non-competitive game.

Gonna be on Finebaum in a few minutes. They are the toast of the SEC for the time being.
