Glad to see it. ACR has taken players from every team in WNC for years and they deserve to have to suffer for it. They will start to lose kids to Asheville, TCR Erwin and Owen instead of taking kids from those schools and many more

Their JV team is legit, they won’t be down for long.

Robinson rolls in this one. Never thought I'd say that against an ACR team but they look little down this season and Robinson is extremely good. Reynolds will be back though. Great program up there.

Sorry, I haven't followed the scores around the state as close as usually do. Just keep up with Union County. Hasn't been a good time dealing with my dad's cancer and him being back in the hospital this week. My bad.

Didn't realize the game was last week. Been at the hospital most of the week and haven't checked other state scores like usual just local scores. Sorry.

With the way Owen and ACR are trending, maybe it's time to renew the rivalry. I'm sure ACR wants to get Robinson off their achedule

Spider, I really don’t see the benefit. I don’t care about ever playing them again. We have totally different kids. Let them schedule these folks and get beat. It’s funny. We have less than half as many students as ACR.

Understood...I just remember back when Owen could absolutely compete with them. Maybe that time is coming back around

Yeah when I was in school we beat them 3 out of 4 years. Only year we didn’t win was 17-14. 3 straight years that was the final. Owen won 2 and ACR 1. The other year was my senior year in which Owen won 29-0

Did Shane Laws leave because the stopped getting players, or the other way around?

Shane left and retnolds has Owen kids on their roster right now. I’m sure other schools too. When these kids see Erwin Asheville and Roberson along with Enka and possibly Nb beat them then they may start going to those schools and stop leaving those schools for ACR. Also why not go to Owen if you are losing at ACR. Smaller classification and win some games
