Are these private schools? Public school highschool football blows. It's like the rich dads kid at QB and the other rich parents kid at RB on just about every team.

- The Baylor School competes in the TSSAA Division II-AAA.
- The Red Raiders won the state title in 2025 and opened the 2026 season with a strong start.
Tennessee Commitments
- Five-star running back David Gabriel Georges committed to the Tennessee Volunteers on July 22, 2026.
- Other Baylor players like Antwaun Adams and Xavier Bowman have also drawn major interest and scholarship offers from Tennessee.
Neither of these teams are full of scrubs.

Assuming you didn't really read what I said when I mentioned it being public schools full of scrubs. Not private power houses. Geez y'all don't read.

Private schools have something to offer these kids and they take advantage of it. Is it fair? Almost certainly not, but its the system.
I was offered a "scholarship" to a private school in high school for a sport 30 years ago, but I had so much family loyalty to the public high school, I never considered it. That private school was our most hated rival and none of us would have ever done that.
Fast forward to today and almost all of my friends from back then have their kids in that same private school. Im very disconnected from that area, so i was surprised to see some of these last names pop up. When asked, they thought I was crazy for thinking for one second they'd send their kids to the public school we all went to. Its so damn bad now, no parent in their right mind would send their kids there if they had a choice in the matter.
The Baylor QB is a 4 star that is committed to Ole Miss. They are loaded.
The massive population increase and other factors have really changed TN high school football. The talent level has really increased. Unfortunately, that only helps UT going forward.
I saw Baylor on their nationally televised game. DGG is an amazing talent that we are going to see at Tennessee. He’s the 1st team AA halfback.
PTHS looking very good at 3-0 with 3 blowouts.
They beat Mayfield 40-17 last Friday.

Brother, I’m being respectful. Will Stein has won zero SEC games and has never been a HC before. Focus on not being embarrassed tomorrow on national TV before you talk about Kentucky being must see TV in football.

Probably true. However it shouldnt be discounted there is another KY team that's going to mercy rule every team they play this season. Loaded with D1 players including the number 2 player in the country.

I think Trinity wins that game IF Baylor has just good RBs but they are a top flight team deserving of their top 8 national ranking.
DGG. Interesting story. Haitian descent and raised in Canada. His uncle contacted Baylor after his freshman year and he transferred to Chattanooga. Didn’t speak English! 3 years later he’s got a 6mil mil deal from UT.
Apparently talking to their fans Baylor has several of these long distance transfer ball players. Some from California. I believe their QB going to Ole Miss. Tuition is about $40,000/year.

Not casting stones but how does this work? Are these transfers wealthy or they get help from the school?
If I remember SGA was also a Canadian who played in Chattanooga? Is there a HS pipeline?
