Not sure it defines an era but it sure brought a smile to my face. After driving down the field and getting to 4th and 3, the field goal unit trotted on and they took the points!!!!

Next I want to see the punter if it's 4th and 2 at the 50 against a good team.

Putting in Manske early in the 3rd quarter along with substitutions, early and often.
Defines a philosophy to realize it is a long season and playing time = better depth.

On the OP it's not one single play but more of a mind set with PT and subbing.

Frankin will earn an average of 10 million a year for the next 5 years. I doubt he needs your support and certainly not your advice.

It's a good thing Rocco Becht will never throw an Int then. Because you have established the blame will fall on Matt Campbell.

After seeing how his recruits played this weekend, looks like he is absolutely coaching them up. It also appears he knows better than the recruiting services who the best players are because somehow every lowly 3-star recruit comes in looking like a 5-star who they can’t keep off the field as true freshmen.

It wasn't the defining play but I almost cried when we went for the FG instead of trying to get a 1st down on 4th and short. It feels like an eternity since we took the points and made the common sense decision on 4th.

So the goal is to beat Marshall ?
Ryan Day recruits 4 and 5 stars consistently. Ohio State doesn't coach their players? I thought the goal was to win the big games? You think Marshall is the measuring stick. Hahaha.
Penn State recruiting ranks no better than #6 in the Big Ten. That doesn't translate to excellence at the highest level.

Let's hope the victory that defines the "Campbell Era" is not vs Marshall. We are rid of the evil, inept coach who lost 45 games we should have won. I predict victories over Temple and Buffalo! We deserve better!

2026 a complete disaster (not Campbell's fault, Kraft's handywork) 2027 class currently ranks behind
Oregon, Ohio State, UCLA, Nebraska, Washington, MIchigan and USC (per rivals). That puts PSU #8 in the Big Ten. That's a lot of "coaching up" LOL. Richardson is the class of 2028 and has visits with at least 5 other programs scheduled. "We" landed Kahlil Taylor too.
The goal is not beating teams "without a pulse" it's excellence at the highest level!

If the team does the throwback unis thing again for homecoming this year, Campbell should absolutely rock khaki whale pants rolled up at the bottom.
