That was my point.I have 87,000 fewer posts and close to the same reaction score.
I don’t see how the Clowns score 22 unless the Hawks hand them a couple big turnovers like a pick6 and/or scoop&score.they will play out of their mind and lose 24-22
Better eat his Wheaties and get a good night sleepTheir best defensive player is probably Isaac Terrell, who transferred from Washington St. He was the Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2025 and had 3 sacks last week. It will be interesting to see how he does against Iowa's offensive line.
sounds about right. if they are aggressive and iowa playss passive...sleepwalking like many times in kinnick we will take the L. and lester has **** the bed twice against these guys already.I expect them to be very aggressive defensively. They will likely come up with some TFL’s and sacks because of this. They’ll also be ripe for the picking for giving up big plays. We need to make them pay when it’s there.
Their running QB will be their main feature and then they will try to throw some deep passes.
I am often a little nervous, but this year I feel pretty darn good- like Iowa is going to whip the clowns and it won't be close. Biggest worry is what to buy for a day of football and making room in the fridge for it.I have a bad feeling about this game.
The Hawks better win. I am tired of losing to those chumps.
He threw 50% against a bad team last weekI expect them to be very aggressive defensively. They will likely come up with some TFL’s and sacks because of this. They’ll also be ripe for the picking for giving up big plays. We need to make them pay when it’s there.

My thoughts as well....behind the scenes, Hawks are really locked in and tired of the past few years against these guys based on lack of presser comments. Lester has taken it personally for the woes and lack of adjustment and remember last year Moulton was a no go and Addy hurt very early plus Bad Grono still. Night game, Kinnick, an ISU team that hasn't seen a line or environment like this equals a 10-14 point Iowa win.Never fear guys.
The mid zone run and the ability to get Receivers open and a legitimate deep threat= Hawks win.
I've heard similar things from the media members, this week, the players just seemed different. Like they didn't want to give anything away or provide any fuel for the Clowns. It gives me hope that we'll decimate them. I sincerely hope Kirk has instilled in the team just how sick we all are to losing to these nobodies. My thoughts as well....behind the scenes, Hawks are really locked in and tired of the past few years against these guys based on lack of presser comments. They simply won't sustain DL pressure and be good enough to dink and dunk us....we take away the running game and the deep ball and will be just fine.
i saw it mentioned on yt that the isu coach said something in a public setting disparaging iowa and that provides iowa with bulletin board material. what did he actually say that was incendiary?
He might be a good player, but it didn't take much to win that Pac-12 award last year. The conference only had two teams.Their best defensive player is probably Isaac Terrell, who transferred from Washington St. He was the Pac-12 Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2025 and had 3 sacks last week. Hopefully some long developing plays will allow Eppy, Merri, and Brown to get home.....I've heard similar things from the media members, this week, the players just seemed different. IMO the Clowns will look to score fast to start the game. They want to put immediate pressure on to our offense. Look for the deep ball early and often for this one.
“We can’t wait to get to work, but let’s cheer on Coach (TJ Otzelberger) and let’s beat the f**king Hawks, let’s go”
Personally, I could care less about what he said. Doesn't bother me at all. Just go out there and take care of our business.“We can’t wait to get to work, but let’s cheer on Coach (TJ Otzelberger) and let’s beat the f**king Hawks, let’s go”
that’s it? honestly that material in itself is not going to fire up anybody for tomorrow. guess we are going to have rely on ordinary playmaking, technique, and creativity to win
