I knew a few days back that something was off when clemson announced that morris would be on the sidelines instead of being upstairs in the booth.I might be wrong but I believe that Chad Morris wasn’t a great hire. It reminds me of some of the lazy hires that we have experienced.
I think WVA scored more - 70, but the margin or victory was less...I think.Didnt WVA beat them worse??
Dabo was also less than enthusiastic about the QB position days before the game. He said the true freshman was making a good run at starter (rarely a good sign) before making some freshman mistakes in practice. So he was going with Vizzina. Hardly a ringing endorsement. Kiffin took away any possible excuses by not playing the 3 NFL guys.I knew a few days back that something was off when clemson announced that morris would be on the sidelines instead of being upstairs in the booth.
Only $57 millon at the moment for CU to get rid of Dabo.
to be brutally honest, IMO players were going to klimpsun because they knew they would throw up GAWDY stats againt lesser opponents than the SEC or Big10 and would increase their Draft Stock. NOW that everyone else is also PAYING players, they want to make $$$ NOW!!Dabo thought he could beat then NIL system because players would want to come to Bugtussle and be developed over time. All in, LOL! He completely dropped the ball and the taters will never recover from this. Players want the money now, they will transfer to make $5 more somewhere else, there is no loyalty or development of players now. Dabo was completely delusional when he chose his NIL strategy.
Tater U is in disarray. They have financial troubles, there is a huge scandal with their BOT, nobody wanted to be president of their school. I love it!
That was one of my first thoughts - Glad the taters didn't get to use the "But they had NFL players" excuse!Dabo was also less than enthusiastic about the QB position days before the game. Im torn on this. On one hand I want CU destroyed every game but that
that means CU will get a new coach who will use the portal
They were able to sell recruits on CU.to be brutally honest, IMO players were going to klimpsun because they knew they would throw up GAWDY stats againt lesser opponents than the SEC or Big10 and would increase their Draft Stock. Take away Watson & Lawrence and what happens to their great run of top ranked teams?
Yep. Clemson fans are nuts if the think a new coach is going to get them back to the mountaintop. Those teams were still loaded with talent. I bet they would have still been contenders, or at least top 5-8 type teams.
Imo they are delusional if they think changing to a pro-NIL coach will make them suddenly contenders. They dont have the money for it.
It may make them better, but not contenders.
Hothead at it again. Last Saturday night still stinging him.

It is the way he answered the question. If he just answered the question saying he has no reservations about his roster and the team just performed poorly and Louisiana State is very competitive team that would have been a reasonable response. What he did in which he does frequently was attack the reporter. When you are paid 11 million dollars annually you should be able to handle the pressure.I don't have a problem with his response. As ugly of a game as it was, and it was as ugly as you'll see between two P4 teams, it still goes down as one loss. He just said "ask me about the roster after we've played 12 games" which is fair. I don't know what kind of season Clemson will go on to have, but they only play one ranked team the rest of the way. Dabo is still a player development coach....maybe the last one left in college football. Maybe they are as bad as they looked on Saturday. Maybe the players will get better. No idea. But whoever asked that question was obviously trying to bait Dabo into saying he needed to blow up the roster and start from scratch after Game 1.

I did not approve of that either and also, I think that was a diversion from the Garcia situationWell, I once saw our head coach ban a reporter from being in pressers so I guess it could be worse![]()
you have to be more specific here, lolthe Garcia situation
I am laughing at your response, but I am not laughing at Garcia. He just recently went through a tough time the battle with his health, and I wish him the best.you have to be more specific here, lol

Yea, it's guys like Watson & Lawrence that put you over the top. Those teams were still loaded with talent. I bet they would have still been contenders, or at least top 5-8 type teams.
There were many posters who said they were pulling for Clemson since they hated LSU and Lane more,If you're a Gamecock fan that feels the need to jump in and defend Dabo, please head over to TigerNet. This is not the place.
