and the best TE room in the Country . I already took Iowa -11.5 weeks ago but do not follow Me I took NIU +31 thinking it was a great bet but those donkeys were even worse than i dreamed of in worst case scenerio .
I never bet on Iowa games because its already nerve wracking enough but I also thought that -31.5 was too big to cover.

I took over 45.5 that touchdown that got called back would of covered….. but I thought they would at least kick a couple field goals and am pleasantly surprised how good our defense looked

Parker has the raw ingredients for another great defense. Lester is building a more explosive offense.

The Cyclones do not have a single returning starter on offense or defense. 85 transfers playing for a new and relatively inexperienced coach against a Top20 team in the most hostile environment they will face all year. This game should not be close.

Way too high. I think it will be a nail biter.
If it's a nail biter, Iowa is in for a long season. Iowa should win by at least 21, and I would expect it to be much more were someone on the sidelines other than KF. Hayden Fry would beat this ISU team just like he used to beat them, along the lines of 52-3. IMHO, of course.

Yes, Iowa SHOULD win by at least 21….but the Hawks have lost to bad ISU teams before.

I hate this game.

You are right, some good Iowa teams have lost to some crappy clown teams- and there have been many. It is their Super Bowl after all.

I still say Iowa should win easily. After all, it's not like the Hawkeyes are playing Penn State.

This isn't the Cambell Clones. Hawks gunna punish Iowa State this year at home. Gotta set the tone with Rogers right outa the gate. Hawks with the dominate win on Saturday. We'll be singing about beer..........

There aren't that many good Iowa teams that lose this game, it's actually an outlier if you look back at Kirk’s tenure. Outside of 2002 and last year (people can argue but last year was a good team) a loss to ISU means 8 wins tops.

I usually agree with this, but I've watched some really good Iowa teams struggle with inferior opponents early. The double FG block against UNI comes to mind.

I wont be surprised by anything in this one. As usual, ISU will have this one circled in a down year and pull out all the stops, I expect Iowa to be vanilla and control the clock.

Kirk is apparently 13-12 versus the mighty Cyclones. That is PATHETIC.

I did a two team teaser. Iowa and LSU. Got +100. That feels like a gift from the gods.

LSU and Kiffin are going to lay the wood to everybody when possible and Iowa should dominate the line of scrimmage.

I expect a comfortable win but this defense should be a far better test than NIU…..

I heard on their game cast he brought 14 Washington State transfers with him the majority of them on the defensive side of the ball……

Their defense will be a good test. I expect our running game to still be highly effective but our passing game to struggle.
