The Western Mich AD said the explanation and evidence suggest the replay people have the REAL, exact clock. Heaven forbid fans are not seeing the real thing. So is the play clock in the stadium not correct which counts down to a delay of game. Effing weird

Of course it isn't. The replays on challenges we see aren't official either evidently. 
Only in the B10 does the conference come out and fabricate for a name brand school. The corruption was on display for the whole nation to see.

Their attempt to go that route has already been dispelled by multiple folks who know the clocks were synced. Unfortunately it is a big black eye for the conference. Had that been Iowa in W Mich place, it is likely the same result because the conference just told the world they will protect a top brand regardless.
As others have pointed out the scoreboard clock rounds down. It does not show 10ths of a second. There were shots of the official clock in the review "booth" on the sidelines. It read 00:00:6 when the player out of bounds touched the ball, so the clock had not hit 00:00:00. This happens often in basketball. It's not unusual to see a team get a last possession with tenths of a second on the clock.
I loved seeing Michigan get upset too and initially thought WMU got hosed. But it does appear the officials got it right. The irony in all this outrage is that people have been asking for more accurate officiating for years and using technology to achieve it. Well, here it is and people are rejecting it because they didn't get the outcome they want.

There are a few schools that they have just signaled they would do that for, but unfortunately for you Iowa isn’t one of them.
Don’t go there, sport. If a clock shows 0:00 there is no time left. If the clock shows 0:01 there could be just milliseconds left.

You better hope that is the case because if Iowa doesn’t win handily against a whole new team, there will be issues in Iowa City. This game is no lose for ISU under the circumstances.
Reminds me of the Texas Nebraska game when Colt McCoy throws the ball away and they give Texas one last play to win the game. Bo lost his shiat on the sideline when it happened and they gave Texas .01 on the clock. LoL. Couldn’t have happened to a better team. F N.

Pretty sure that the college football rules state that their aren't fractions of a second. It's 1 second or zero.
In what other sport is the STADIUM clock NOT the actual clock? It's the damn one the teams are using.
Could you imagine a last second buzzer beater in basketball showing the guy got the shot of in time according to the clock in the backboard.... Then some replay guy in New York calls in and says that clock that EVERYONE else is using, is wrong. Some guy in a dark room with all the betting lines has the REAL clock.

Unfortunately for you, that just isn’t the case. Folks like you still live in a bubble and think Iowa is a big market brand. Fact is you are a small market team and nothing will ever change that regardless of the color of your sky.
No excuses at all here….Iowa is a two score favorite for good reason, but the key here is the coach in Ames had the exact same situation in Pullman last year and managed to get them to a bowl game. He knows how to work the portal and is defensive minded. The difficulty in getting all new players on the same page is a challenge.

It’s not really about the actual stadium clock or the clock operator, it’s about the B1G saying they have the better, more accurate video sync than NBC… which may or may not be the case.
I assume NBC could release the raw, timestamped footage of the play and the stadium clock and see if that supports the Big Ten’s story, but they probably aren’t going to do that.

At one game back in the early 1970s, Iowa was ahead by a few points in the last minute of the 4th quarter when members of the band noticed that the stadium clock had not started when play began and failed to start for at least 15 seconds. Soon the whole band, which sat directly behind the team in those days, was pointing to the scoreboard and yelling at the officials, "THE CLOCK, THE CLOCK...." This led to one of the oddest comments ever made during a radio broadcast when Jim Zabel informed the listeners, "The officials are now conferring with the Iowa band director."
Anyway, the clock was corrected, and we were informed that the authoritative time was kept by an official on the field and that the scoreboard clock was not official.

Last I heard there is an official timekeeper. I have been to several games where the official on the field asks that the stadium clock be corrected.
Which AD generates more revenue….that would be Iowa’s until the B10 brands decide not to share equally. Then all bets are off. Profitable departments don’t borrow $50M from the University.
