Could they have put up a 1000 yards offense last night?

We had about 550 yards less than two minutes into the third quarter after the 70 yard touchdown pass, so I’m pretty confident if we had kept the starters in and continued to run up tempo, we could’ve gotten to 1,000 yards.

Why does this matter to many of you?
We were playing a team that barely had a pulse.
Now if we put up 500 yards of O and get the W on Saturday then we may be onto something.

The large majority of Bulldog football teams over the last 50+ years that I have been watching would have struggled against this team. Typically , imo, we usually struggle the first half and then run it up second half. That is just what I am use to seeing. Maybe some of yall have seen something else. Idk. I mean its not like we haven't lost to ULM in the past. And many other " garbage" teams.

In 2016, UMass went 2-10. In 2017, they went 4-8. Both of those seasons, they had a halftime lead against us. In 2017 we were ranked and needed a fourth quarter punt return TD to pull away and win by 11. The same people pining for Mullen today were cussing him those days. So it was nice to completely dominate an overmatched opponent, because it usually doesn’t happen.
