HAMILTON, N.Y. – Four Pirates are currently 3-under-par and have lifted the Seton Hall men's golf team to the lead at the 2026 Alex Lagowitz Memorial after two rounds on Saturday.
Sophomore Luke Nolan (Austin, Texas) had five birdies in route to an impressive 3-under-par, 69, in round one. He followed it up with four more birdies in the afternoon for an even-par, 72.
In his first collegiate round, Dylan Holmes (Wickow, Ireland) was without a blemish, using five birdies and 13 pars to fuel a 5-under-par, 67. In round two, he had a 2-over-par, 74.
Junior Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) had a pair of round under par on Saturday. He had five birdies in route to a 2-under-par, 70, in the morning, and followed it with three birdies and 13 pars for a 1-under-par, 71, in round two.
Senior Isaiah Williams (Flemington, N.J.) shot an even-par, 72, in round one, but used four birdies and 13 pars in round two to fuel a 3-under-par, 69.
For the tournament, all four Pirates are tied for third place among 84 individual golfers with a 3-under-par, 141.
Colgate's Ronav Benak currently leads the individual field at 6-under-par with 18 holes remaining.
As a team, The Hall has a large seven-stroke lead after 36 holes. In round one, the Pirates shot a 10-under-par, 278, which ties for the sixth-best par-72, single-round in program history. The Hall followed it up with a 2-under-par, 286, in round two. For the tournament, Seton Hall is 12-under-par with a 278-286-564. Host Colgate is currently in second place at 5-under-par. Seton Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, Villanova, is currently 6-over-par entering Sunday's final round.
Senior Eli Shah (Newtown Square, Pa.) rounded out the Pirates' lineup on Saturday with a pair of 2-over-par, 74's. For the tournament, he's tied for 39th place with a 4-over-par, 74-74-148.
Competing as individuals, newcomer Jacob De Jesus (Bridgewater, N.J.) is currently tied for 11th place, while sophomore Blake Goodnight (Dallas, Texas) is tied for 22nd.
De Jesus had four birdies in the opening round in route to an even-par, 72. In round two, he had five birdies and shot a 2-under-par, 70. He's currently 2-under-par for the tournament with a 72-70-142.
Goodnight had a 2-over-par, 74, in the morning, but shaved off four strokes in the afternoon, using four birdies to power a 2-under-par, 70. He's even for the event with a 74-70-144.
