Bigger version of Lamar Jackson. He will put up INSANE numbers in this offense and has weapons all around. The OL was protecting better.

I could care less how silly it sounds to some. I do believe he is this talented. If he stays healthy his stats will be crazy this year.

Excited to see him as the competition improves.

He’s got a ton of ability but I’m still assuming we don’t have the supporting talent for him to put up heisman like numbers against good defenses. I will say I saw a lot of good catches from receivers that I feel like we basically never made before Leach (excluding moulds).

if our pass Blackmon’s is adequate against teams with a pulse, that will significantly raise our floor this year.

There wasn't much edge pressure from ULM and the times there was, KT did a great job of feeling the pressure. If he maintains that instinct he's going to be special.

I thought the RG3 comp during the broadcast was pretty good. If we can get that out of him.....it would be incredible. People tend to forget how great RG3 was before the injury and perhaps because of his goofiness sometimes on tv.

Winning the Heisman is probably a different conversation but I'm with you on this kids ability to stuff the stat sheet.

The only similarity between Taylor and RG3 is the haircut and skin color, which is why so many are saying it

If you want a true comparison, after last night, he played a lot of Lamar Jackson's sort of game

KT is a better passer than Lamar Jackson ever was. Lamar was also more focused on running and physical. I think Vince Young is who he reminds me of. Either way KT is a winner. I know it when I see it. On the flip side, DJ Lagway at Baylor is a talented loser. He lost the game by throwing it behind his receiver instead of leading him on a 4th and goal. I was pulling for him, but he's not a winner.

If we win 9 games he will be in the discussion because he will have to play at a Heisman level for that to happen.

as it is, his talent level is amazing. But…..he’s a true sophomore. He’s going to make mistakes. He made a few last night that better teams would have capitalized on.

I also am not sold on the team around him being good enough for him to succeed on the level we all would like.

It appears we are a better team than last year. For now I am happy with that

I think this is the solid take for K1..... forecasting ahead for him to be in contention, is a solid year this year, a commitment to stay at STATE, and an off season build up of a supporting cast, and then that 9 win season with talent that helps display his talents and ability to produce

I truly don’t understand why some people choose to live in such misery and negativity. We have arguably the most exciting young prospect in the ENTIRE history of Mississippi State, a prospect any person can look at and say thousands of positive things about… and yet some ONLY see “well he almost threw an INT and our team sucks…”

We truly have some real IDIOTS as fans.

He can't win the Heisman this year, but he can set himself up as a strong candidate for the future. Hopefully that will be as a Bulldog.

He could, but we'd at least have to have a winning record. Pretty tough schedule ahead. Only one more creampuff left. This team looked good enough Saturday to pull off a good season this year tho. This coming weekend will be telling - decent opponent in enemy territory with probably not a lot of fan support in the stands.

Hopefully our permanent field logo is the MSbackwardJ. ESPN still used the $tate one on the broadcast.

We have very underrated receivers, great hands and fast. Our run game will only improve. Can we stop the run on defense? Can we get pressure? If so, we could be in for a wild ride.

He will win the Heisman after he transfers out to Georgia or Texas Tech.

Heisman is more of a best player best team deal. He's got all the talent in the world but this is more of a next season discussion for if we put up a solid season this year and really start to get attention from talent we otherwise would not (especially on the offensive line).

Let's pump the brakes. He can absolutely be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd team All-SEC player if he stays healthy. Haven't had one of those at QB in a minute.

Let’s hit the accelerator. There’s plenty of reason to believe in this team with him leading it. If we don’t enjoy this now, we may as well all find something else to do with our time.

He could win it. In order to do that he will have to carry this team to 10 wins. Obviously that would require him playing outrageously good. Looking at our schedule each game is a step up in competition until we hit Texas. That bodes well for getting better as a team. Hopefully. The most likely scenario would be we have a good year and add a few more pieces and next year he carries us to the promised land. But if you have listened to him.at all you know he and Lebby are a packaged deal. He aint leaving and neither is Lebs

Not to be argumentative but I just saw he wanted to be at MSU prior to Lebby so I’m not sure what you’re saying is accurate. I don’t know how it all works behind the scenes but I’d imagine in today’s environment he will have MANY programs throwing the bank at him if he keeps it up.

He had many programs already throw money and yes he is a Dawg thru and thru. If you listen to a few interviews you will hear Lebbys name over and over. He loves him some Lebby. But his whole family are Dawgs.
