Anyone else can't stomach watching college football this Saturday?

Just seeing how other teams look compared to how we looked Thursday night makes my stomach hurt

I believe the NYGs didn't get good until they were humiliated in Chicago back in the 80s. I think same sort of thing happened for the Yankees in 90s. So RU opened the door to change. I said in another thread that RU football looks like its pre-Louisville days 20 years ago. People said "Its not the same old Rutgers anymore". But now its a lot closer to "same old Rutgers" in a boss team heavy BE that it couldn't handle. RU needs a new team of horses pulling the wagon. I wouldn't be surprised if the B1G helped

I usually am so excited for start of the season. I’ll watch at least two or three other games on Labor Day. Not this year. I don’t think our games will be watchable this year. I can’t imagine our defense being worse than last year. But it is. I don’t know how the press took one look at that back 7 and could possibly think they got better.

They lost to Chicago in the playoffs in the 80s. Perhaps you were thinking of "The Fumble" vs. Philly in the late 70s.

I’ve been watching parts of the games as I will do through the weekend. I like the sport. I’m pretty much over the debacle game. I’ve been around a long time and been watching RU football since the 1970s. I’ve seen a lot of bad games. Additionally , I’m a NY Jets fan. I don’t have a fragile ego, you learn to roll with things.
