I believe Kent state was ready for the check at halftime.
Yep and Clark too. Clark drives forward with the ball with nice burst. Fuller as well. All three will play a lot. Freshman wide receiver #0 looks like he needs to see the field more. This was basically a scrimmage but still a solid performance.
Carolina was conditioned great. Also helps that this offense lends itself to spreading the load and not relying on one tailback (old school) or one "x" receiver. Good tempo mix in there for our offense.
Thought so too. He looked great overall. Yeah, didn't run it much. IN this offense though....there are gonna be games where he runs for 100 yards here and there.
I thought the same thing. I was like "these boys aren't cramping up like normal....must have been a good conditioning off season." Which is nice.

The University should be suing Nike. Instead they are using red paint for the end zone to color match.Also can’t tell the difference between our guys and UGA. Like Nike recycled Georgia gear to SC.

Nice to see Mazeo make plays. Harbor and Murph and Cyrus looked good too. Little blurb about Harbor.
If they continue to be intentional about feeding harbor the ball and letting him run, I think defenses are going to have to plan the whole game around him.
After all the naysayers quit posting this was fun. I was pleased with how they played. Of course Sellers was short on three passes which we heard about multiple times. Anyway I like the new offense. Hopefully they will continue to get better as the season progresses.
It was moot anyway; the stripes dutifully compensated by ensuring they called in the 110 heat some illegal formation and illegal motion and illegal shift penalties against the team down by 50 points. Because it was super necessary.
This was a rare situation where we opened a season by beating an inferior team the way they should have been beaten.
