Against my better judgement, I’m trying to keep the peace instead of being an I TOLD YOU SO MFer. IDK what Schiano had over those who defend him to the death. Im just hoping for a quick and painless season. Esp after a team that was 0-12 and lost over 50 + players did this to Rutgers.

Just got to put up with Schiano's BS one game at a time not much longer… Unless of course the mods are right and Schiano is truly the most untouchable MFer in all of sports.

He’s definitely not untouchable! Let’s also stop with this big donor bull sh;)! Why do we care about them? We have no money and the ppl they supposedly like and support has had our program abysmal for 30 years.

Fire Greg and his supporters will get new donors

Umass isn't close to Rutgers in anything. It's why we paid them to come and presumably get their asses kicked. Umass' NIL budget is reported to be $3MM. Rutgers has somewhere around $25MM. Their operating budget for football is $16MM. Rutgers operating budget for football was $76MM and growing. Their head coach makes $1.3MM a year. Schiano makes $6.5MM. They are a MAC team. Rutgers is a Big Ten team. The only place where Rutgers doesn't absolutely smash Umass is the one place it matters. The scoreboard.

Devastating.

This board is for power 4 Big 10 football. It’s not for club sport lacrosse.

Good thing we have an infinitely more successful D1 lacrosse program than Schianos football team.

OriginalKnight. Another Schiano fanboy who looks like a complete idiot now. Surprised he’d come out of the shadows to embarrass himself.

Al has been a fan and supporter while you were still in diapers.
While he is over the top at times nothing he said isn't true.
Bad losses are a part of sports. We had a bad loss.
Still need more NIL and a field house.

Let's show Al the respect he deserves. Guy has been a huge fan for decades.

Al's mom? or new account for Al? Superfan is on the board for three days but somehow knows Al is a huge fan and supporter, props him up and knows that Al has been around for decades.

Hard to argue facts. Here is another fact. Schiano had NIL taken off his plate. As he said, he had more time to do what he does- coach. Well this is what happens when he has more time to coach. It gets worse. Maybe he should go back to NIL fundraising.

What she likely said in the interview after reviewing Schiano's contract is give me three years to open brand deal and NIL lines, then I can review Schiano's performance and be in position to make a determination while having necessary funds to implement whatever plan makes the most sense.

She never thought even the pedestrian Schiano would lose to Umass. This is moving her timeline up significantly.

BCU is the biggest game of Schiano's coaching life. He lays another egg in Boston, I predict he's going after the IU game. That would be the perfect time to do it as things are currently constituted.
