IC’s first drive ends with a punt where the snap goes over the punter’s head.
St Ignatius starts their drive on the IC 14. Goes for it on 4th and 1 and get stopped.

Ignatius defender with a huge hit on Bowen that forces an incompletion but a flag is thrown for the hit extending the drive for IC

IC misses the FG. Had 3 and Goal from the 7 yard line but a sack forces a long FG that goes wide left

Bowen with a huge INT. Flag for the celebration pushes it back though. IC 1st and 10 from the Ignatius 27

Odd that Iggy wouldn't run and try and work the clock there.

If true, then maybe IC wouldn't be able to contend in 7A. Maybe we can stop with the extremes after only 2 weeks of the season.

They’re definitely improved from last year. The heat was a factor but they still played well. They’d benefit from running a more modern offense though

I’m with ya re extremes. Board littered with some really bad takes.

All I’m telling you is what I heard from someone who might know. Personally I’m a big fan of the school.

Yep, Iggy is tough. They got after the ic qb all night long and were hard to run on.

They’re definitely a great team. Seems like you might not be a fan of them. Think a more realistic take is they can compete in 3A, 4A, 5A. Doesn’t matter in the end though cause they’ll only play in their class. I’d say it’s unrealistic to think that a 3A school can compete for a title in 6A-8A though

I really have no opinion on them one way or another, but after the Naz game there were some here talking about how untouchable they are. My comment was meant to address the extremes that people seem to go to based on the results of only one game.
