That's rash. You gave three reasons. She has the smarts. Stones?-leaving that alone. Sway?-that's not her fault or problem. Amy Towers and the big donors have a say in this. Keli has been her for just over a year. It's not her fault if they are going hold her hostage on a decision for a bit longer.

I know who I would have been on the phone with today if I was her. I would be on with Brian Kelly to see if he has an interest in the job. There's familiarity and a record of achievement. But the goody two shoes at Rutgers might not accept him. Perhaps if he works on the Jersey accent, he can win them over.

I don't think you understand the love affair the big donors have with Greg. That will take some convincing. No need to do it this weekend, especially if there is no backup plan in place. As I said, nobody expected this. First thing that would have to be done is to name an interim head coach. Who is that going to be. KC? Very doubtful. Johansen-he may be in way over his head already.

it doesn't matter, he is killing the brand. If the media coverage today (coverage that was like 2006 in it's breadth and scope but for opposite reasons) doesn't tell her the tide is against her then she's the wrong man for the job. Her entire career at Rutgers will be dictated by this now

We are a national laughingstock. We need to make a statement to donors, sponsors, recruits, fans etc that this is not acceptable at RU. Every moment he continues as coach perpetuates the notion that we are a small time operation that accepts humiliation and losing. She needs to make a statement we are serious about being B1G time. Clock is ticking for me.

I’ve canceled my Boston trip, I don’t want to be associated with him anymore.

Rule number one that has served me well-never make a decision in a fit of anger, humiliation or any other emotion. Take a couple of days, calm down, gather facts, make a plan and then act. As I said above, nobody anticipated last night. Yes, it was bad, and it is terrible. Like most fans, many of us were bombarded with texts laughing at us. My Georgia Tech buddy was one of the first, but he got his last night.

We are still going to travel to Wisconsin to see one of our adult kids, and I want to see the Northwestern stadium. Mrs. Shift and I like football weekends.

Keli's hands are quickly getting tied. There is too much money at stake to keep him now. No one wants to associate with that loser.

Brand deals are predicated on not losing to winless teams and becoming a national laughing stock. Schiano picked the absolute worst time to Schiano.

Completely agree on the Zinn take. I understand the buyout.

That being said after everything Tate and Zinn have talked about to date. The right message and would make her appear strong would be firing him by Monday.
Press conference saying she is here to win and Thursday was unacceptable and no longer will happen here RU.

Every fan would respect t and applaud the energy breathed back into the program.

Apologies for not being more clear, everything after “ChatGPT’s hot list for fun…” was ChatGPT’s list and analysis, not mine. I do not in fact, think harasymiak would be an A+ hire at the moment

Im out on the Wisconsin trip. Making a last minute trip to Austin for UT/OSU next week instead and will likely hit either Utah/BYU or ND/BYU on a road trip later this fall.

It crossed my mind if maybe Amy Towers’ connection to Wisconsin might bring Wisconsin guys like Eck or Dickert onto the radar if they have good years this year.

I agree with this however, this is looooooong overdue. Dont' forget, it's on the tail end of monumental collapse against kstate in bowl, followed by an absolute disaster last year and starting off like this

you really are underestimating the national and local media coverage on this. it's bad, even Fox had it on their front page and they didn't even have IU on the front page day after the NC

Since she wasn't the one to hire Greg she can't be blamed for how the program looks and at first glance her WBB program hire appears to bode well for the type of HC she'll be hireling to replace Schiano.

That could change in a flash if the WBB program doesn't play like we think it will right now , under Reedus, after the season starts .

Newsflash. Keli was not here during K State. And I am not underestimating anything. Nobody is going to care if he is fired this week, next week or in two weeks. Best to have all your ducks in a row and a plan in place before the firing.

I’ve been gathering facts for 7 years. He isn’t it. Sponsors, recruits and donors know he isn’t it. I’ll be back once he’s gone, but if you miss your window they may not come back

you're missing the point; it's a pattern and her being here or not isn't relevant to where we are now and the look at how we got here.

I can assure you, she's not looking at 'just her time as AD' when evaluating him.
