As I was escaping to the exit in the beginning of the 2nd quarter, knowing what was coming, I somehow dropped the key to my Hyundai. I didn't realize until I got to my car that my key was missing. Luckily, I was admitted back into the stadium and R Guest Services did not stop working until my key was located. So thanks to them and to the person who turned in my key. I probably won't be back this season, but at least that was a positive. Thank Keli Zinn for R Guest Services, sincerely. And I am someone who donates a boatload of money to Rutgers Athletics, so I don't take this loss lightly.

Notwithstanding how badly UMass humiliated Rutgers, I had three very positive takeaways from the game.

The first is that KJ Duff played well and is definitely a great receiver.

The second is that the fireworks show was really good after the game. It’s one of the best I’ve seen and truly worth watching.

After the fireworks were over, the drive from the stadium was incredibly quick and easy.

Hopefully the last statement will change as we move through this season …..or else total collapse by 2.0

Maybe because the stadium was empty after 3/4? That must have felt like a personal fireworks show!

You were pretty close to being right about it becoming a personal fireworks show. It was my wife’s birthday and I told her the fireworks were just for her and that came pretty close to being true.

Might have been a smaller crowd but did think the entrance to the game went far smoother yesterday.

Yellow Lot parking attendants were helpful and accommodating.

New Ribbon was cool.

Birthplace of College Football should never have been moved. With the Ribbon could actually see it yesterday.

So there was that!
