Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers Football versus UMass

Going 3-0 vs cupcakes only to get smoked in conference is my biggest gripe with college football.
The million dollar question - if we can him after this game. Who are we plugging in as interim?
Haven’t looked at their schedules but I’m guessing that’s why Locksley is good in September and not so much the rest of the year.
How bad are the other QBs if this is who we're trotting out there? Another year, another lack of Greg getting anybody ready to throw meaningful passes.
Getting f’in dominated in every phase of the game.
there won’t be anyone who even cares left after this game.

Even punt returns are FUBAR. Please, forfeit your coaching salaries now.
this level of bad yes
no one with a clue expected there not to be a drop off but to your point, this is shocking
This one will haunt us for a long time. Any tiny ounce of respect we had in the Big Ten community is completely gone
Ok this is how this feels to me Lonergan is throwing like they are running patterns in practice with no defenders on the field....only now there are defenders on the field & he is still throwing like there's no defenders on field regardless
RC '93 grad. Third time in 37-years that I'm stepping-away from the program to preserve my mental sanity - failures of Shea, Ash, and now, Schiano. My dollars and I will return upon the hiring of a satisfactory replacement for Greg.
two million dollar question: how much better will the bball board be without the pro-Schiano trolls this year?
RESPECTFULLY in that press conference the MEDIA better rip him apart.
Lonergan Sucks really really bad
Holy crap. How much NIL are we paying this guy to be the worst QB in football?
No seriously. Surace needs to play the rest of the game
Stick around for the laughs. And the nostalgia - I feel like an undergrad watching Terry Shea seeing this debacle.
Year 7 and this is where we are.
Losing to a 2nd year HC, who used to be our DC, with a new OC that just out coached our HC by miles that didn't win a game and lost to a 3-9 FCS team last year.
UMass 133(11.1) Opponents 463(38.6)
(3-9)Bryant 27- UMass 26
By comparison,
2016 Rutgers(2-10)
Rutgers 188 Opponents 450
Rutgers 52 (2-9)Howard 14

Im telling you he is throwing the ball like there are no defenders on the field with zero urgency....he's GOT TO GO hes not a QB
Not a serious program if he is not gone tonight
I’ve seen a lot of bad football at RU for fifty years. This is the worst.
Would be a disservice to the entire team, including Lonergan to put him back in.
This is beyond comical. Welcome to the new laughing stock of P4 football.
