The last day to register for fall semester at UK, and the last day to add classes, was August 28th.
You are a fan boi of a university that had fake classes...run along now boi.
Most likely he’d be better for us than Mitchell would have. Inside scoring efficiency is exactly the same. Tyson’s a very very slightly better rebounder technically but essentially both are the same. The differences that matter are Tyson’s a much better free throw shooter so you can’t shut him down as easily at the end of games and he’s a much better and also a much more battle-tested perimeter shooter, which is what we really need for our offense and to get the most out of the players we already have signed.
With Mitchell since he has that beautiful passing ability there was the outside chance of playing him as an undersized 5 to be the main cog in our zoom action machine. But back in the real world Pope was never gonna play him as our main 5 and leave Moreno and Kepnang both twiddling their thumbs. In the real world, that flashy passing would have been limited to yielding occasional feel-good moments and highlight reel footage coming out of the four spot, whereas Tyson’s shooting, if we get him, will be one of the main staples of a much more powerful offense and will make us glad we lost Mitchell.

Something has changed then since I was in grad school.
What are people even talking about " last day to enroll in classes".NOBODY gives a rats rectum if these guys go to class. College sports have nothing to do with scholarship. These guys are paid mercenaries, this is about big money and big business at this point.

Malik Renau (most likely going back to Miami) was just granted a TRO in the state of Indiana. While I don’t believe we’re in on him, I do believe the availability of 5th year guys is far from over as court cases continue to settle. TKR filed in Indiana and would be the dream target, Tyson and Medved (MN head coach) have apparently both expressed interest in reuniting if he’s granted another year. This will just be a watch and wait situation

Been super quiet on UK’s end in terms of actively recruiting anyone for that 15th spot, a lot of rumors have been floated that it’s a mutual decision for Painter and TKR to move on, so it’s all up in the air. I’d have to agree with you that I think we’re capped too, but would be shocked if we didn’t throw our hat in if he were to become eligible
If somehow it is possible we get TKR, we are back to being a top 5 roster.
