I was hoping they would levy actual penalties. I bet they get reduced like Minnesotas was. Kawhi skating is BS, he knew exactly what was happening and probably asked for it. His “uncle.”

I don’t know why the clippers exist. They’ll never get the fanbase there. Nobody really even pays attention to them. They’d be so much better off moving and creating their own brand. wtf is a clipper anyway

A clipper is a type of sailing ship, and the team was originally based in San Diego, a city with a long naval history. I don’t know why they moved to LA.

The team was actually originally based in Buffalo. They were the Buffalo Braves long before moving to Cali. The San Diego era was essentially just a brief pit stop.

Fwiw, it was Kentuckian John Y Brown who basically began the franchise’s downward spiral. He purchased it as part of a sweetheart deal in exchange for folding the Ky Colonels, and then executed this bizarre franchise swap with the Celtics owner so that the franchise could be moved to So Cal. And it’s been viewed as a laughingstock franchise for nearly an half century ever since.

First I’ve heard of it. Not that’s there’s many “clippers” over here in the mountains.
to be fair, it could be worse. Somebody could name you the pelicans.

The Clippers seem screwed for the immediate future. Meanwhile Kawhi could probably find the money to pay his fine in between the cushions of his Living Room couch.
