Seneca Driver: Any chance of flipping him to us or is his recruitment over ?

I watched the Bryan Station highlights. He was the best offensive and defensive player on the field. I know it is difficult to play offense and defense at the college level, but I think Driver could do it.

This. Seems pretty clear he just always wanted to go somewhere else. That's fine. As another poster said, with the portal, anything can happen down the road.

What I love is apparently both staffs just moved on. No need to dote over a kid that doesn't want to be here yet. Move on.

With Stein reeling in great talent, we can do at least as good.

Disagree. First, he was very interested in UK under the prior regime (from previous posts on this Board) until, according to him, the previous staff mysteriously stopped recruiting him, and second, current staff continues to recruit him...I 100% fault the lazy a** prior staff for this situation...and it isnt the first such debacle

Stein’s TEs are a huge part of his offense. The Oregon TEs had over 1100 yards combined last year with two guys over 500 yards. As stated above, can totally understand wanting to be tutored under Witten but for the most part the NFL will recognize the talent wherever a kid plays and no doubt Stein would target him a lot.

It would be hard to say no to go play for one of the best tight ends in the history of football. I’d want Witten to coach my kid also. Oklahoma staff got a good one.

And we turned around a few days after Seneca's commitment to OU an got a pretty big replacement at TE ourselves.

I may be wrong, but I think Seneca is from Oklahoma. The recent highlights of him reminds me of Tim tebow .tha kid is a man child gigantic athletic too
