No you're just a liar. How are McBride and Ousmane "high level players at the 4?" They're not. They are role players. They would both be 3rd strings at Duke and now are our starters. Stop always lying about everything. You people are so annoying. Anytime someone speaks "oH yOu ArE sO NeGaTiVe." I appreciate the optimism but this is not close to a FF team. I can see this being somewhat similar to y1, with a Sweet16 ceiling maybe E8 if we play well and luck into it. If we somehow get to a Final Four, it will be due to a crazy amount of luck like 2011 for ex. and not overwhelming teams with talent. Would obviously love to be wrong though

3. We raise concerns over a mediocre looking team.
4. We're told we are bad fans for thinking so.
5. UK loses over a 3rd of their games and we're supposed to celebrate like it was a good season.
6. Then we repeat steps 1-5 again and again.

I’m going on my own judgement of watching Pope teams up close.

I saw the quitting first hand.

Pope is just not a good coach.

The only way he ever gets to a FF is to buy a ticket. He can’t even make the FF of the SEC tournament.

But you do you. Doesn’t bother me that you see it your way. Why does it bother you when someone else sees it differently?

I agree that Mitchell is a big loss. But I do like McBride. I have only seen a short clip of N’diaye.
I also think we don’t have any choice now but to play who we have. Obviouly.
im gonna give it some time before I call UK to replace Pope over this.
I wanna win and go deep into the tourney.
While I’m not sure this team sans Michell can do it, I’m gonna enjoy the season and hopefully we will be much better than people think.

It just all depends on what you expect and desire for the team. I've always said the days of Kentucky winning championships are done for this generation. The people still clinging to the idea that Kentucky is a tier one basketball program are not being rational. I still hope Kentucky can get to the round of 32 and in this era of Kentucky basketball that has to be good enough. Maybe things will be great and we might even get to a sweet 16.
